Melo isn't nearly good enough to win as a first option, and is too selfish and ball dominant to be a third option.

That's just the problem, and you don't even realize it. Carmelo will always be your 1 or 2, and you will never win a championship because of it. Just like Iverson. They're "better players" than Allen, easily... but if I'm a coach, and I'm building a team designed to win, I would rather have Ray Allen than either one of them. I'd rather have Ginobili than Iverson as well. I'd take Ben Wallace over Blake Griffin. I'd take Dennis Rodman over Russell Westbrook. I'm sure a lot of people would read this and think I'm out of my mind, and I'm cool with that.

got look at tony parker's and tim duncan's minutes

could they not handle it either?

fukk outta here

:camby:

Duncan was a center/pf that averaged 39 minutes till like 30...

Ginobli is a fukking swing man and I bet he didn’t average 29 minutes in his prime... he was a 3rd, some time 4th option... and y’all comparing him to a guy who had to carry teams......

Now y'all just being disrespectful

Manu has never had to be a number 1 option and he was barely a number #2 option in his prime
He could have been easily though, he just played on the Spurs. If he had left he could have been a perennial 20/5/6 player on another franchise.

Manu is super skilled and a top 10 SG of All-Time IMO.

Don’t be disrespectful to the SG position like that.

They wouldn’t look bad. What can’t Manu do on the court?

He got a handle, he an All-Time passer for his position, he can shoot the ball, he can get to the rim and is one of the craftiest and innovators of the euro step can low key get up and dunk too, defensively scrappy knows how to pick pocket and play lanes expert flopper/charge drawer, fearless and clutch too. Easy 20/5/6 player with 2 steals as a starter.

Hes an Argentinian James Harden. His numbers was handicapped being a 6th man and playing in a system.
