Manu only averaged 29+ minutes 4 times in his career. His 2nd, 3rd, 6th & 9th seasons. Dude only played over 80 games ONCE. And he never averaged over 20 ppg in a season.
Yet he's supposed to be a top 10 SG of all-time,

Manu don't got no holes in his game. He could do everything on the court. If needed he could easily be a number one option on a different squad. It's like if James Harden never got traded to Houston and stayed a 6th man on OKC.

He played on the Spurs and got four titles he sacrificed individual glory. His skillset is teflon and his game is influential especially his euro steps and P&R play. His per 36 minute career stats are 19/5/5.5 with 2 steals. He can do everything well on the court and clutch af.

You can really get a worthwhile gauge on how good people actually think a player or team is by looking at expectations placed on them and the standard they're held to
Muhfukkas in here touting contextless metrics and calling Manu an all time great at his position... While in real time Manu ain't once at any time in his career been judged by the same standards as melo...if he had, the spurs would've been seen as a super team...cats can chronicle every misstep and failure of Melos career and Manu ain't ever been blamed for shyt ever... Manu bag of tricks is deep he's wild crafty, he got a shammy, he'll nutmet you, his step back is nasty, he got a floater. If given a green light he's an easy 20-25 point scorer and he racking up dimes galore. Ginobili in a D'Antoni 7SOL offense as a lead ball handler like Harden would be nasty. Ray also averaged more rebounds than Ginobili for his career. And let's not sleep on Ray's handle. It was just as good as Ginobili's.
