So dropping 9 ,2 & 2 is putting in work, yet averaging 16, 6 is signs of a washed player.

Ray also averaged more rebounds than Ginobili for his career. And let's not sleep on Ray's handle. It was just as good as Ginobili's.
I'm not part of the Melo is completely done brigade so not sure why you brought that up :francis:

Ginobili is 40 years old and was playing 20 minutes per game, yeah he put in work :manny:

Ray isn't a better rebounder than Ginobili. Ray just has a higher career average because of minutes, Manu averages more boards per 36 minutes. Ray handle was not as good as Manu's, don't drag it, Manu got a loose, street ball handle with a deep array of moves. Ray had a nice little crossover and good escape dribbles to get his jumpers off in his younger days, by Boston days you barely saw any of that.

You just said Ray didn't have his "handles" anymore in Boston, then proceed to put up a Manu handle mixtape from when he was in his prime :dead:

And this is an NBA Finals against a good defender in Tayshaun Prince. Ray handle is NOT as good as Manu's.

Look at this shyt b :russ:, he just gonna casually dribble through his defenders legs in transition long stride get to the rim strong AND 1 :damn:

@Mr. Jack Napier take that shyt back

His handles was never as good as Manu's at no point :stopitslime:

Manu bag of tricks is deep he's wild crafty, he got a shammy, he'll nutmet you, his step back is nasty, he got a floater. If given a green light he's an easy 20-25 point scorer and he racking up dimes galore. Ginobili in a D'Antoni 7SOL offense as a lead ball handler like Harden would be nasty. Ginobili was unselfish and it's why he got 4 rings it can't be held against him, his skill level is known and respected by hoopers. He can be a number one.

The fact he led Argentina to Gold as a number one and still putting in work at 40 years old shows he ain't regular :hubie:
word manu nice never said he wasn't

not on that scoring.champ mvp level though

I really don't think you watched Manu in his prime:patrice:

Manu was nasty with his

i agree manu game influential

& he definitely had his moments

but as an individual player he ain't on that scoring.champ mvp level

him being on one of the goat franchises with hof players & pop coaching definitely would not stop him from progressing

The Truth
Has nothing to do with being a “cac”

Manu IS better than Melo... offensively that’s debatable and probably not.

But in damn near everything else that matters, yes.

He could have been easily though, he just played on the Spurs. If he had left he could have been a perennial 20/5/6 player on another franchise.

Manu is super skilled and a top 10 SG of All-Time IMO.

Super skilled, but they didn't translate to what he did on the floor. Like I've always said he and Sheed are the 2 GOATs-with-the-worst-stats. They're actually underachievers. Manu relished in the spark role. I doubt he could even be the #2. Sheed was a #1 that often played like #3, You can'r bank on potential. And while I'm at it, B diddy is the most skilled PG I've ever seen. But he's not making it to the HOF.

What makes you believe that? Why would he not be a number two? He could be a number one option on a different team. How did his skill not translate? Manu didn’t underachieve he played on a dynasty and sacrificed. Just like Kevin Love and Chris Bosh has to sacrifice to win titles. Kevin McHale and John Havlicek came off the bench too in their careers. Harden just won MVP and was coming off the bench for OKC. It is what it is.

Sheed was a naturally passive player. Baron Davis the most skilled PG?
