The reason I chose to go to culinary school is bc food service is a profession that will always be in need. If you do what your supposed to do you can make around 40 to 80k depending on where you're working. It's not a glamorous job but it definitely pays and is always in need.

Work offshore, schools, hospitals any you have a steady job with good benifits.

Pretty much military it’s hard as fukk to get fired from, but the punishments you’ll receive will make you wish they fired you :wow:

Whatever division of Raytheon or Northrop builds drones and laser guided missiles systems

shyt I would argue the best game in town is to be an engineer at Northrop Grumman on the new B-21 contract. Thats a 20 year contract that will be worth 100 to 200 billion. At the least.

They haven't even created the prototype and just won the contract in 2017. Plus they gonna give you a Top Secret to work on the plane. And finally its considered a project that can't fail cause it will replace the B-1, B-2 and some B-52 bombers. We talking 50 to 100 planes at 100 mill to 200 mill a piece.

Got damn thats F-35 Project...back in 2002 type of job security..:whew:

If you're good at what you do, you have job security. If you aren't good at what you do anything with a strong public sector union.

I feel like saturatiom of talent is more important to job security than how good you are i.e how easy or how difficult is it to find someone to replace you.

If your partifcular field is saturated with talents and skilled experts then you are easily disposable regardless of how good or competent you are.

Good engeneers, software developers and accountants etc are in abundance

A good/great neuro surgeon on the otherhand, not so much

This is false. Many factors exist beyond your efficiency at work. Entire industries have been killed off that had little to do with how well they performed the job.
