That defense contract money and job security is no joke. With congress dominated by pro war/military conservatives and neo liberals, they will continue thriving for the foreseeable future.

The reason I chose to go to culinary school is bc food service is a profession that will always be in need. If you do what your supposed to do you can make around 40 to 80k depending on where you're working. It's not a glamorous job but it definitely pays and is always in need.
Work offshore, schools, hospitals any you have a steady job with good benifits.
Utilities...power company, water treatment, waste water..
I do pretty good for myself
Whatever division of Raytheon or Northrop builds drones and laser guided missiles systems
If you're good at what you do, you have job security. If you aren't good at what you do anything with a strong public sector union.
shyt I would argue the best game in town is to be an engineer at Northrop Grumman on the new B-21 contract. Thats a 20 year contract that will be worth 100 to 200 billion. At the least.
They haven't even created the prototype and just won the contract in 2017. Plus they gonna give you a Top Secret to work on the plane. And finally its considered a project that can't fail cause it will replace the B-1, B-2 and some B-52 bombers. We talking 50 to 100 planes at 100 mill to 200 mill a piece.
Got damn thats F-35 Project...back in 2002 type of job security..![]()
Hory shyt. Anywhere I can read bout this? (not too well versed on planes)
This is false. Many factors exist beyond your efficiency at work. Entire industries have been killed off that had little to do with how well they performed the job.If you're good at what you do, you have job security. If you aren't good at what you do anything with a strong public sector union.
be a plumber![]()
Medical field, I make 75k+ a year at 24 years old less than a year into my career. One of the best decisions I ever made.
