Yeah I know that, but PG does everything melo does just as good if not better.

I don't see what melo provides to the squad that really differentiate himself.

Structurally this move looks redundant.

a 3rd scoring option to get buckets. He would have had the same role in Hou, OKC, and Cle. Melo wasted a lot of years in NY (should have taken a 3yr deal instead of 5), but he's still a good player, just not the #1 lead guy that he was trying to be on the Knicks.

This isn't the NFL where you have 2 solid QBs and it's impossible to use them both. Melo and PG can both catch and shoot, take you off the dribble, post up, and create their own shot. Not sure how having 2 player that can do those things is an issue. If anything it makes them tougher to guard.

They are very different, PG is more like a big guard, he's the least physical forward in the league, Melo can stretch the floor and bang down low, PG is not a great mid/low post player and won't get you boards as much as Melo, specially second chance points (when he tries) since NBA refs hate him. Defensively Melo can't stay in front of small forwards.
