He’s not saying blackballed but his team is literally telling other NBA teams that he never had a fair opportunity and his team used before and after projections to prove his point.
He's made $250M dollars to be a ball hog with zero leadership ability or desire to play D or accept accountability when he disappeared in games.

I hate to see Melo go out like this, but let's keep it a buck, dude IS getting blackballed, and was scapegoated in Houston & OKC.

You can't tell me that their are 450 players better than Carmelo Anthony right now in the league.

You’re missing the point. A guy like melo needs to hog the ball and put up points, he literally brings nothing else to the table. At this point in his career, he’s basically an older Eddie House. But his ego will never let him play that role. He will disrupt whatever team he’s on and no one needs that.

WHY DO YOU nikkaS
KEEP SAYING THIS?

DO YOU THINK MELO WANTS TO PLAY FOR THE SUNS, TIMBERWOLVES, HORNETS, GRIZZLIES ETC?

"It's the only thing left for me to do is win a championship." In that vein, Anthony admitted that his representatives had reached out to contending teams like the Los Angeles Lakers and the Los Angeles Clippers

Miss me with the he's one dimensional narrative. Their are a TON of cats in the NBA right now that are one dimensional. Perfect examples, Kyle Korver, Corey Brewer. If Kyle ain't knocking down a open shot, he's useless on the court. Same goes for Brewer.

Secondly disrupt what? He didn't disrupt anything in OKC or Houston. So what the fukk are you talking about? And don't even bring up the "he's a cancer" bullshyt narrative, cause plenty of ex-teammates of his have said he's a great teammate. Hell, Lance Thomas even wrote him a one letter when he got traded from NY.

You’re right, there are plenty of one dimensional dudes in the nba. Key difference is they’re not future hall of famers who agreed to completely change their game to fit the narrative of the team. If this happened 15 years ago, there’d have been a few teams to give him a shot. Now, it’s too risky to disrupt the so called culture every single organization is trying to create.

People need to chill with saying melo out of shape or needs a personal trainer. Melo is in tremendous shape physically at 36yrs old. It’s just at his age, he can’t move the way he used to. That got nothing to do with him needing to lose weight or be in better shape.

I’m 35, I’m in the best shape of my life physically. It doesn’t mean I can still move the way I used to 10yrs ago. Knees and back hurt whenever I run or try and play ball after nonstop sharp movements and jumping.

With that being said, this is just pathetic on Melo. Either accept a role on a lesser team, or shut the fukk up and retire. You’re a first ballot HOFer, no need to go out begging for a job. Contenders don’t want and they don’t need you on their squad.

What cultures? More than half the teams in the league don't have any type of winning or positive culture. You think the Knicks have a good culture, or the fukking Wizards. What about Orlando :mjlol:
