When you've got three of the top 20 players in the league in your starting five, I mean barring injury they're gonna get that chip. Still rooting for my Spurs but GS is too talented.

Lebron would want Carmelo to play the 4. Carmelo doesn't want to play the 4 on the defensive side. I don't think it would work out that well.
Carmelo to OKC on the other hand is a damn near perfect fit. A motivated Melo would probably re-elevate the Thunder to contender status.

It's closer to Indianapolis than NYCHim & KD played the take turn game...Russ & Melo would be atrocious
If Melo played a secondary role it could work. KD and Russ were 1A and 1B and sometimes It became complicated in terms of who deferred to who.
And inspite of all of that they were one of 3 championship contenders for 5+ years
If Carmelo played off Russ and doesn't try to take over the team..and let's Russ run the show I think it works. Melo"s skill set is exactly what the"re needing.
I've always liked the idea of building around Howard like they did in Orlando. I guess it depends on what ya'll would have to give up for him though.
