When is the last time you watched Dwight? He's not that player anymore. He is terrible in the low post unless it's for an alley oop. He's a PnR big who is elite at rim protection, finishing and rebounding. But he is the worst creator of his offense on our team. That's not his game anymore.For sure, I don't mean to build the whole franchise around Dwight at this point, but getting pieces that can stretch the floor and let Dwight have space down low is still a good approach to have with him on the roster. Adding another backup center with the same kind of skillset, or a low post scorer would be good as well, perhaps Okafor could pan out in ATL.
Okafor cost too much. We just don't have the assets we are willing to trade to land him.
hes avg 10 assists on a team without a lot of scoring talent.....meaning he could be averaging more if they were more consistent at making shots.
