First 2 seasons were shortened breh. I doubt if they have played 70 games together.

And? YOu don't sign nikkas to max deals with the expectation that they will be hurt most of the time. You don't sign them to max deals thinking it will take them 3 years to gel together.

Again you don't watch knicks basketball so stop reading stats and trying to figure out things based off that .:heh: melo and amare were hurt all last year ,no training camp due to the lockout and they had no pg. I watch practically every Knicks game so stop arguing Knicks with me .
They both played fine under Woodson last year until Amare got hurt again .

I am not arguing I am stating fact. The both played their best ball as a Knick when the other wasn't around. To the point of the thread, Amare should be that scorer that Melo desires. It will be interesting to see if they work it out for next season and stay healthy. You may be suprised to know that I actually hope both of those things happen.

i'd do that trade if shump is not included
and it works out for both teams i believe

::comeon:

This is what i hate about you Knicks fans. y'all always want someone else's best player but refuse to give up anything significant for it.

Are you telling me that if you had the chance to get Chris Paul, giving up Shumpert would be a deal breaker???? You fukkin' kidding me? i understand you dont wanna gut your roster and have nothing left for Paul to play with. But Iman freakin Shumpert is your deal breaker?? Iman Shumpert, while a good prospect, can easily be replaced by players at vet min. Paul, on the other hand, not so easily.

Also you're crazy to give up on Chandler so soon after just one sub-par year in which he was injured and came back to at least play hard even though he didnt play wall still played hard. Jordan isnt gonna take you to the promise land.

Listen it's not fact :usure: it's chandler who's the impediment . Melo and amare work off each other well. Look back at the actual games played when healthy melo would feed amare rolling to the basket like crazy. Honestly if chandler could Improve his offense even a little :patrice: but the guy doesn't even want to go work with dream :merchant:but he still wants the ball.
If amare could actually start at center and stat healthy I would trade chandler

He was saying that after they lost to the pacers :dwillhuh: and he brought it up a fee times during the season :manny: I like chandler but take responsiblty for your own play I don't want to hear him melo , jr or stat trying to pass the buck .:whoo: I would much rather keep chandler and have him work on his hands and actually trying to hit that jumpshot that he took earlier ( that Kmart takes to make defenses stay honest ) and maybe learn a move or something from the dream . I'm not expecting him to turn into brook Lopez but but he got to catch the ball and be able to do something , not everything can be a lob

you may be right about chandler
but he rubbed me the wrong way in these playoffs
playin like a bytch and den complaining about the offensive like he contributes to it

i ain't down with giving up shump. he's pretty much the only young player we have and he has a world of potential. i want paul but he's injury prone and to be honest, a lil bit overated:yeshrug:

chandler playing with blake is a allstar front court
felton and bledsoe is a very solid back court
novak one of the best shooters in da league
and they get a future draft pick

seems more den fair to me

if he was gonna learn something like that
he would of done it sometime in da last ten years
his offensive game is garbage:wow:

Yeah but when healthy he is hands down the best PG in the league. Top 3 push comes to shove.

Either way G fukk fair. if you have the chance to get Chris Paul you ship that Shump mofo out and get Chris paul. Once you have franchise PG then you can worry about freakin role players to put around him. I bet you the type of mofo that didnt want to gve up that italian dude for Melo too. Would that have been a deal breaker for you too?

Thank God no owner will put you clones in charge of a franchise. Mofo has the chance to get one of the leagues best players and letting a role player get in the way :smh:

We've seen Thousands of players with "potential" that never amounted to shyt. Maybe thats why Riley left you fukkas. When Riley sees the big fish he empties us the bucket to go after it and worry about the rest later.

granted he was offended when we wouldn't trade noah for him which I still stand by today but him and rose would be :whew:

Why wouldn't the Bulls do that though? They still had Asik at the time

:dead:

If the Bulls traded Noah and Deng + Filler for Melo and whoever else to make the salaries match, the roster still would have been solid.

Beasley had "potential" and im sure Riley could have said "nah we'll just take Lebron and Wade and leave Bosh out because Beasley has potential". NO. Dude said Bosh is ready NOW. Bosh it is

I think cp3 would have to demand a trade honestly . And we probably would have to lose more draft picks. The biggest worry is his annual injuries
at this point, i just think he is what it is
if he was gonna learn something like that
he would of done it sometime in da last ten years

Yeah your probably right . I'm just tired of him fumbling the damn ball :snoop: and then he gives the defender time to catch up. And on fast breaks I wish he was down the court quicker , low key the Knicks get stopped in transition way too often . We need a finisher
