Case Keenum holds a dozen NCAA records. Why is it 'surprising' that he can throw?

Thielen & Diggs make life easier no doubt, but I've seen Keenum step up on 3rd down all year. constantly made a subtle move to buy time and hit someone in those spots. He can play.

His biggest issue is the bomb that goes off in his head and makes him self destruct for whatever reason. did it in that Carolina game with some goofball dead duck INTs, did it yesterday on the INT that got New Orleans rolling.

Jim McMahon and Steve Young were the grandfathers of the Air Raid offense for example and Young is one of the best QBs of all time. A true dual threat as well.
And McMahon only threw 100 TDs along with 90 INTs in about 100 games. Don’t let that SB season fool. They won despite him. He was faaaaar from the reason they won (only 15TDs).

Young had to sit and learn how to be a QB in the league and even then, dude took a crazy number of sacks.

where Timmy Chang, Colt Brenan or the rest of them Texas Tech qbs at?

I was just about to post this, i just knew one of them would make it, but nope, especially with colt taking Hawaii to the bcs bowl

Honestly it depends where you get drafted and the opportunities you get that determines a lot

Brennan had an outstanding preseason for the Redskins, he had a game where he threw over 400 yards. But he was sidelined with a season ending injury. He also had off the field problems, he had a brain injury/concussion issues

None of that has to do with whether he could play QB.
