You don't average 19 and 11 in a league by sucking. You don't get multiple all star selections by sucking. But I forgot this is the Coli where it's fukk logic let's say anything just to get some daps.

Love has his faults but he is not the only reason the Cavs lost that series. And the whole point of the thread was missed: Butler or PG can not replace what Love does for this Cavs team.
PF could do more for the Cavs than what love did. Stop being a star boy geek. A big portion of dude's 19-11 was empty stats like he was posting in minny. He got. He got most of his points off of wide open looks. He was a liability on defense and he was never able to dominate in the paint on offense.

Well, thats great news for Cavs fans then, cause nobody running to the table to trade for his bum ass! :mjlol::sas2::umad:

Let me know when another team out east dethrones the Cavs :russell:

Butler and George can keep their bum asses on their bum squads and keep getting sent home by Lebron and co. :umad:

Explain how?

Stop looking at the stats and look at the Xs and Os. PG is basically LeBron Lite..he needs the ball in his hands.

That man is not about to come to Cleveland to be a spot up shooter :stopitslime:
PG is more versatile, is a better defender, would be another play maker, and would give the team much better options to play small-ball. You're the one mentioning stats. Pg doesn't "need" the ball. He certainly has the skills to play off ball. Now what he wants to do is another topic.

Kyrie can't run an offense for shyt, and it's why bron gotta play 46 mins

You going off speculation I'm going off facts. You expect him to just change the way he plays the game if he somehow ended up in Cleveland?

Bottom line is the offense runs thru Kyrie or Lebron. PG is not as big of a threat or doesn't command the respect that those 2 do to run the offense thru him.

You would be a fukking fool to take the ball out of Kyrie or Lebrons hand to put it in Butler's or PG's....and that's exactly what would have to happen if they was on the Cavs.

Exactly. And they did not lose because of Kevin Love. They lost because of bad coaching and horrid offense at times IMO.
They lost because of defense and a completely inability to even make Kevin Durant have to work hard to get off shots. That isn't going to change next year if they make no moves, the Warriors are (most likely) going to be there in the Finals. You need somebody who can give Durant some struggle on the court (nobody is going to shut him down but you got to make the breh at least expend energy to get his shots off). Their offense isn't the problem, it's the D (pause).

If they make a move for George or (even worse) Butler, they're going to have to find a way to replace Love's rebounding though. But being able to at least compete with Durant is paramount for that team, and Love doesn't really do that. His inconsistency in the offense is a problem as well; you could say it's because of the offense or the ball dominance of Kyrie and LeBron, but that's not going to change so :yeshrug:

I honestly don't buy into the veracity of the "Love's defense is severely hurting their chances against the Warriors" trope.

What we saw against the Warriors is firepower is the only way they may be de-throned. No one will stop this team defensively, unless you have Kawhi, Lebron, Davis, Giannis and Conley on the same team - that's not happening.

If the Cavs move on from Love, I'd implore them to acquire the type of players who get locked in and salivate at the chance to take those important shots in crunch time. On any other team in any other era, I'd consider J.R Smith a headache but he's actually a commodity against this warriors team because he's not going to be thinking about the headlines of tomorrow's sports blogs if he chooses to take the important shots. For that reason alone, I love him on the Cavs.

Now, of course you want your aggressive players to be smart also - so I'm not necessarily suggesting that they need offensive firecrackers with J.R's BBIQ but they need the guy who has a "I pick things up and put them down" simple attitude when that ball is in their hands and they are in position to score.

If not for anything else, that's my issue with Love - he appears about as timid as Lamarcus Aldridge out there sometimes.

JB and PG would get significantly less touches with the Cavs and some Pacers fans need to step inhere and confirm because I'm 99.999999% sure they've tried PG at the 4 and it DOES NOT WORK and he DOESN'T LIKE PLAYING IT
