This nikka looks as fast as John Wall does :dwillhuh:

247. Says so in the beginning of the full video

It's crazy how much smaller he looks compared to his time in Miami and now.

How the fukk can you be 247 but move at speeds like John Wall and Westbrook?

He's a once in a lifetime athlete, he was definitely pushing 265-270 in Miami.

Be 270 and jump clean over guys when you catching alley oops, breh :picard:

Funniest thing is that videos can never capture how fast Lebron is. Even average NBA players move ungodly fast around the court.

First time I saw Lebron move in person at full speed made me realize why dudes just get out the way when he's coming. :hubie:

That football athleticism...

This is where we remember that Tim Tebow was 6'3" 240lbs running a 4.7 forty (Lebron claims to run 4.6 hand-timed) and showing off a vertical in Lebron's range.

Football athleticism is crazy stupid. Lebron is one of only 2-3 guys in the NBA who I think actually has it.

LeBron ran a 4.45 in HS.....Michael Reghi always brought it up when Bron was in Cleveland the first time around.

LeBron was claiming to run a 4.6 when he was in Miami, at a time he was around 270lbs.

Seeing these pro-athletes in person makes me think how stupid I was for even hoping I could make it :francis:

Breh, I guarded Kevin Durant on two possessions when he was at UT. When I tell you this nikka literally did some DBZ shyt when he went past me, I mean it. I blinked and he was literally two steps past me.

Hell, I saw Brandon Jennings play in high school and dude looked like a goddamn superhuman. Dude was out here pulling up from 35 feet, leaving dudes in the dust, hitting dance moves, and throwing down windmills.

In hindsight no one knew LeBron would dominate the way he did. They could only speak from perspective of watching a hs schooler jumping to NBA. Their opinions were not wrong at the time.
Yeah but by 2003 we had already seen KG, Kobe, T-Mac, Jermaine O'neal and Amare Stoudemire. Kwame was the main So yes they were wrong. Kwame was the main bust.

Yeah...Lebron was the most hyped athlete of all time in any sport and its not close. Only thing I can think of that's even remotely close is Andrew Luck and it was still a far cry from Lebron's hype. Obviously he lived up to it which is pretty amazing in itself, but anyone who wasn't expecting him to be at least HOF caliber was in the extreme minority. I'd say there were more people expecting Lebron to average 25/7/7 in his rookie season than people who thought he wouldn't be a good player.

He didn't live up to it..,he surpassed it. Why is this guy still the best in his 14th year in a league full of crazy unique talents?

If someone walks into a pickup game talking about how great this one guy that no one knows is and how he is gonna change the game everybody on the court is gonna be like :rudy: until that person proves it. We talking guys at the highest level that have seen it all and have the biggest egos. Of course they are only gonna believe it when they see it. That said :dead: at D. Miles. How you gonna question a HS players impact when you came straight from HS? And then the nikka said "he can get on our bandwagon". They won 17 games :russ:.

Exactly I'm like nikka what you think you graduated from duke:gucci:

B Jennings was a talent though. He had more talent than even the average Nba player.

No one is gonna remember now because he never put it together and then blew his Achilles and lost all his explosiveness.

But you ain't lie I saw dude in high school too and I gotta say him and Lou Will were 2 of the most dominant high school players of all time.

Lou Will especially was a Deity in Highschool.

Gotta remember at the time Bron was still a product of media hype so the players were probably tired of hearing about him by then. He was a big story for casual fans but the "serious" basketball minds weren't lining up to say how great he was.

Also this was the heart of the "NBA = Thugs" era. The perception of straight outta high school players was still mostly negative (despite reality). Especially a young tatted up hoodlum who was calling himself The King...

Wrong on almost all accounts.

Players who already came straight outta HS at this time included Moses Malone, KG and Kobe who was already a 3 time champion, Amare came straight out of HS the year before Bron and won ROY, McGrady himself came straight out of HS in 97, Shawn Kemp was another one. It was only 2 years after Bron came in that the NBA made the one year out/must be at least 19 to be eligible for the draft rule, and that was to keep NCAA bball so profitable.

And everyone was crowning Bron as having next. ESPN was broadcasting his HS games and everyone who called the games, and just about everyone else who was asked in general, said he was the real deal.
