I grew up in ClayCo and used to go to my parents' friends' house off Wesley Chapel as a kid so that's all the Decatur I knew. Fast forward to being 19 and meeting this chick who takes me to Java Monkey(RIP) and I'm like "bih where are we? This ain't no fukkin Decatur "

This is pretty much it, I know a bunch of folks that went down there from Cleveland and was fake living it up online but struggled even more down there and ended up having to comeback. You ain't about to prosper without an education or some sort of skillset needed to build revenue.

These folks think Atlanta is Wakanda and you just go there and become rich overnight because on IG, everyone is hiring and paying at least $40hr

Gotta be the CITY of Atlanta cause ain't no way that's Metro or the surrounding counties.

t's bad in the metro. The area is catering for out of state business & people. Building luxury apartments (surprisingly not a lot of people can afford, tearing down neightborhoods and local businesses,etc

There's only one Decatur. There is the City of Decatur then there is all of unicorporated Dekalb County that uses Decatur as a mailing address. You'll know if it's Decatur if the Decatur police show up vs. Dekalb county police.
