the WWE is very obviously holding him back, it's cool to chant "yes" but a 5 foot nothing guy is hard to buy as heavyweight champ even in a kayfabe environment

- He says the WWE shoulda just forced Reigns down everyone's throats anyway since fans only want what they can't have. Reigns is good looking athletic etc. ..

- Rollins should lose immediately to Randy Orton because he's not the right guy to be champ and will be a lower drawing champion than Diesel was.

This is from his latest "You're Welcome" podcast. Kurt Angle was on. He was a cool listen.

its a pretty interesting rant overall.

he talks wrestling with former wwe writers a lot . .. The last 10 minutes of the episode are where this stuff is.

i actually think he is correct on bryan. fans just love the yes chants. and fans seemingly want to be the focal point of the show. and this started with the what chant.

don't get me wrong i like d bry. but all of his matches are very formulimatic (i think i made that word up) and I'm surprised many people on here havent complained about that.

I've said a while ago in some thread about Bryan that all his matches (at least since his return) feel like he's working off a checklist of his signature moves. That backflip of the turn buckle over his opponent is almost as overused as Ambrose's dumb looking fall through the mid-rope recovery.

he truly feels like a mid card wrestler when he does that shyt. not everything needs to be pulled out the arsenal every match. bryan is talented as well so he can come up with some new shyt.

im actually okay with ambroses dumb fall thru the mid rope bullshyt. i think its hilarious like how are we supposed to believe that type hilarious.

someone might know the question to this. but do they have someone in the back who says this is what we want to see in the matches in terms of moves? especially with newer wrestlers?

Thats the WWE style though.

and everyone who sold stock after WM knew exactly what they were doing. You buy september-october and dump after WM.

That's hard to hold against Daniel Bryan specifically because most if not all of our faves fit that description.

Knowing what you know now as a fan I guarantee that you could go and watch say a Bret Hart or Ric Flair match you've never seen and know what they're going to do/how they'll react based on their track record.

Yeah, but with Bryan it feels like he's literally just doing them one by one following a check, then the match ends. Like you can tell during a spot exactly which spot you're going to get next.
