Ask him why a 5'8 guy in Mayweather outdraws the entire UFC?

I absolutely HATE when people use size as a talking point with toughness and believability. It's such a weak argument.

Maybe it's because I personally know, have worked with and have rolled on the mat with some legit "5 foot nothing" killers.

Ring rust? He has better matches than Seth, Ziggler, Barrett, Cena, Rusev, Ambrose, and Reigns every week.

Disagree with that. Although his matches have been improving once they put him in the IC title run.

someone might know the question to this. but do they have someone in the back who says this is what we want to see in the matches in terms of moves? especially with newer wrestlers?
Their called "Road Agents"

People like Fit Finlay, Ricky Steamboat, Arn Anderson, Michael "PS" Hayes, basically all the old fukks are backstage road agents (like assistant coaches) Usually one "coach" is assigned to a match, goes into a room and discusses the match layout and finish with the two opponents.

usually the agent uses these terms...

open match = both wrestlers get even offense in the match

dominate = usually a "Rusev vs jobber" type match

keep strong = Bray Wyatt had to "keep undertaker looking strong" @ WM even though he is old and washed up now

protect = Brock Lesnar had to protect the young Roman Reigns and hide his wrestling flaws

Go All Out = a main event ppv match, get the best out of a hot crowd (Daniel Bryan vs Orton vs Batista WM 30) usually skilled veterans all in one match

there are other options but these are the main ones, other than this, u see the wrestlers call their own spots in the ring especially Cena. He's a ring general so he leads the younger guys ala Rusev

I wouldn't say Cena is a ring general..someone who gets all of his spots in and makes sure he comes off very strong.

Well let's see, Bryan was in a clusterfukk ladder match with six other guys while Reigns was in the main event with the best performer in wrestling today.

Ok well then he should make a better point don't say bryan has better matches than anyone then make excuses :yeshrug: . And brock isn't a better WRESTLER his character and way he's booked makes him stand out . Was anyone saying this when he was losing to Hhh and getting his hand stabbed by taker ? Between first cena to Mania 30 it was only punk feud thay was entertaining . Bryan fighting ziggler singles and was in a gimmick match which has stolen manias before

Come on breh, Reigns was in the main event and had the most ring time on the show. You can't argue he's better than guys like Bryan, Ziggler, Harper, Ambrose (though I actually think he's better in the ring than Ambrose) because he had a better match in the main event than they did in an opening ladder match.

Also, Brock was great in his first match back. I always believed Brock was the best wrestler in the company but was never booked well. He was in matches with HHH, Big Show and a severly concussed Taker, of course they wouldn't be that good. When he's in the ring with guys who can deliver (Cena, Punk, Rollins, and Reigns) he puts on great matches.

Reigns just did sigs and sold...it was a Lesnar match. Bryan was marginalized and his time was nowhere on the level Reigns and Lesnar got..

Once again my point was proven this week...Bryan's match with Sheamus was the most talked about at the tapings while they got Cena rambling and Reigns doing sit down interviews..and you're to say he's not the GUY when it comes to carrying this show weekly...

Selling is more important than anything they do in that ring...you can't call it "just" selling. That Reigns sells well enough to make a good beatdown worth watching on the Big Stage should tell everybody all they need to know about how he should be booked.

i actually think he is correct on bryan. fans just love the yes chants. and fans seemingly want to be the focal point of the show. and this started with the what chant.

don't get me wrong i like d bry. but all of his matches are very formulimatic (i think i made that word up) and I'm surprised many people on here havent complained about that.
Lately they have mad repetitive. He needs to switch his style, bust out some older of his "safer" indy moves or go to his tweener type striking heelish move like when he was Daniel Wyatt for those couple weeks.

Of course I call it just selling..a match plotted out where u can take a few stiff spots for the first time in 3 years and smiling and selling...it is what it is. It did it's job...it got the male fanbase excited. He's still gonna be dominant and look unbeatable..likely? His title reign just put on hold till Summerslam.
