someone might know the question to this. but do they have someone in the back who says this is what we want to see in the matches in terms of moves? especially with newer wrestlers?
Their called "Road Agents"
People like Fit Finlay, Ricky Steamboat, Arn Anderson, Michael "PS" Hayes, basically all the old fukks are backstage road agents (like assistant coaches) Usually one "coach" is assigned to a match, goes into a room and discusses the match layout and finish with the two opponents.
usually the agent uses these terms...
open match = both wrestlers get even offense in the match
dominate = usually a
"Rusev vs jobber" type match
keep strong = Bray Wyatt had to "keep undertaker looking strong" @ WM even though he is old and washed up now
protect = Brock Lesnar had to protect the young Roman Reigns and hide his wrestling flaws
Go All Out = a main event ppv match, get the best out of a hot crowd (Daniel Bryan vs Orton vs Batista WM 30) usually skilled veterans all in one match
there are other options but these are the main ones, other than this, u see the wrestlers call their own spots in the ring especially Cena. He's a ring general so he leads the younger guys ala Rusev
