Yeah, but with Bryan it feels like he's literally just doing them one by one following a check, then the match ends. Like you can tell during a spot exactly which spot you're going to get next.

Depends on the match. If it,s a ranmdon Tv match or a tag match, I agree.

But you can't honestly says he's doing a checklist on matches vs Reigns at FL, vs Ziggler at Raw, vs Sheamus at SD or the Tag Team Turmoil. He does new shyt and tells different stories when he's allowed to.

Every WWE main eventer has a checklist of moves for their comebacks. Look at Michaels, Cena, Rock, Orton, Austin, Flair, Bret, etc. Most comebacks are always based on the same moves. Bryan's is the drockicks on the corner and a big move from the tope rope that leads to chest licks. But he manages to make it compelling when he's given enough time.

At least that's what the majority thinks and that's why his checklist isn't seen as a mayor issue :manny:

That's hard to hold against Daniel Bryan specifically because most if not all of our faves fit that description.

Knowing what you know now as a fan I guarantee that you could go and watch say a Bret Hart or Ric Flair match you've never seen and know what they're going to do/how they'll react based on their track record.

Bret Hart lowkey is the 5 moves of doom originator, but ya'll sleep. shyt, Ric Flair didn't even have a moveset :mjlol:

the WWE is very obviously holding him back, it's cool to chant "yes" but a 5 foot nothing guy is hard to buy as heavyweight champ even in a kayfabe environment

- He says the WWE shoulda just forced Reigns down everyone's throats anyway since fans only want what they can't have. Reigns is good looking athletic etc. ..

- Rollins should lose immediately to Randy Orton because he's not the right guy to be champ and will be a lower drawing champion than Diesel was.

This is from his latest "You're Welcome" podcast. Kurt Angle was on. He was a cool listen.

its a pretty interesting rant overall.

he talks wrestling with former wwe writers a lot . .. The last 10 minutes of the episode are where this stuff is.
Chael on his :troll:.

Your right cause that's the wwe style with the few signature spots . But what I notice is his work isn't as crisp its kind of like later punk to me . Could just be ring rust and working with kane in the beginning :scusthov:

Idaho.
i actually think he is correct on bryan. fans just love the yes chants. and fans seemingly want to be the focal point of the show. and this started with the what chant.

don't get me wrong i like d bry. but all of his matches are very formulimatic (i think i made that word up) and I'm surprised many people on here havent complained about that.

the word is formulaic :lolbron:

I've said a while ago in some thread about Bryan that all his matches (at least since his return) feel like he's working off a checklist of his signature moves. That backflip of the turn buckle over his opponent is almost as overused as Ambrose's dumb looking fall through the mid-rope recovery.

That's called the WWE style.

If we are gonna talk formulaic matches, why stop at Bryan when we can look at damn near the entire roster for the same thing. Bryan is just going with the flow with the company

well when your IC and US champions are daniel bryan and john cena, you better make sure your world champion is on or above that level as well.

sadly, as of RIGHT NOW, seth is nowhere near that level. how long can he really reign as the TOP champion???

Because I've found it more noticeable with Bryan. Like someone said above, it might just be ring rust from being out for such a long period..

Ring rust? He has better matches than Seth, Ziggler, Barrett, Cena, Rusev, Ambrose, and Reigns every week.
