I have unsubscribed from The Brilliant Idiots podcast because he always tries to sound enlightened, but doesn't even know some of the basic "big" words his guests use.

Takeover is the better song.
Ether is the better overall diss.

Takeover's beat is >>> Ether's beat. Not even close. Takeover isn't even a Nas diss. It's got 4 verses with one verse at Nas. Both songs are about 5 mins, and all of Ether is going at at Jay. Jay even knows he lost that battle, as evident by his reaction the next day with Angie Martinez

"Wow. Wow. That was uneasy. Very vulgar."

But which song would I want to listen to? Takeover. It's a better song. Some people might not get the difference in what I'm saying, but Takeover is the better overall song, and musically it's just better. It's got a song structure, with a chorus, verses, etc. Ether has a chorus too, but it's most Nas just blacking out.

So yeah. Again. Ether = better diss. Takeover = better song.
