i believe in casey too, but why release woodson if we don't have a safety...morgan burnett is still trying to rehab (you can tell he's still hurt)
but yo, you're absolutely right about our front 7! on both sides of the ball man....its like we're so passive....ppl forget that pickett and raji weren't full time NT in our super bowl season...they were supplanted by howard green! we need a vince wolfork or haloti ngata on our D
Howard Green was a real find. Our run defense improved and our pass rush was consistent throughout that season with Jenkins on one side and Clay on the other. Man, we were so solid all over on defense
the good news is, this draft is loaded with d-line talent
so we should get a player thereas far as safety, it definitely is a need. I still have hope in Burnett, he's still very young and is learning... but he has to show a lot this upcoming season. McMillian is a decent prospect but I don't know about him starting. MD Jennings is also on the roster but neither are playmakers and we need that.
But I think the offseason priority has to be protecting Rodgers. Then the front 7, then the safety spot, then the backfield.

I said wait til both corners play at a high level for years like Woodson did. Nnamdi is fukking trash so we can scratch him off. Revis still needs another good 3 years to be where Woodson at in terms of consistent good playing. LOL@ butt hurt fans mad cuz Woodson won DPOY. He deserved it. He made plays and covered good WR's...He's an all around better football player then Revis.
