The NFL doesn't have this issue cuz their legendary teams are in smaller mid sized cities like Green Bay, Colts, Steelers, Chiefs, Broncos.

Boston was always up there but the Lakers were in Minnesota first. Knicks are considered legendary but they only got 2 rings.
