Dog....I've been watching ball since 84Exactly, this might be the 2nd greatest era of basketball after the 80s and early 90s and the jury is still out on this generation to equal it with so many guys either not in their prime yet, entering their prime or still in their prime. Watching the Heat vs Spurs Finals in 2013 was easily the best brand of basketball displayed in a Final since the Celtics vs Lakers in the 80s. The best in any series since the Kings vs Lakers in the early 00s. We talked about this a couple of years back when all these young bucks were getting better and better. Now, it appears that almost all the stars that have entered the league have either met or exceeded expectations placed on them. That is what you need in order to have a strong league.

This is the 2nd greatest era of ball we are witnessing imo

The mid 90s to the early 2000s, had some of the worst centers...Michael Olawakandi, Eddy Curry, Big Country Reeves, Michael Doleac, Adonyl Foyle, Kelvin Cato, Joel Przybilla, etc. It got so bad that nobody wanted to be known as a center anymore. In the 80s and early 90s big men embraced the center spot.
