For the most part he's right. For someone not actually apart of it as long as it's entertaining it is fine. But for someone like charles oakley who was part of the NBA and competitive basketball it must be shytty to look at as it is now

Let's be real as a great as the 90s were, 80% of the teams were offensively inept. and the 90s Knicks squad was arguably the worst offensive squad of all time.

This is why its hard for me to watch/listen to sports radio. I wish i could stop altogether but i admit its kinda addictive. Listening to on-air personalities and "insiders" talk about contracts and off field issues has taken lots away from the actual games themselves. Sports=WWE

I grew up in the 80s and 90s too...there's some truth to that...if by "heart" you mean less physical defensively....definately.
Oakley was a true BULLY in the league, that dude was dirty as fuk on defense....they don't make em like that anymore.

No they don't. It's plenty of guys not wanting to win playoff series. LeBron James is a prime example. He sabotaged two teams intentionally just so he could walk away easier. That's SOFT. These guys rather create super teams than compete against top notch players. That's SOFT!
It wasn't great defense it was bad offense.

Statistically speaking the NBA has the least fouls per game it's ever had. In fact, each successive season there's less and less fouls. This will be the first season ever where we'll see more 3PA than FTA. So...you're wrong.
In general you old head nikkas love to state a lot of popular opinions about today's league that you'll find out are disgustingly inaccurate if you actually take some time to do some research and look at the stats and not just regurgitate what every other nikka is saying.
