Went to the soccer game tonight, that was pretty fun. Crazy how they got old Panthers players everywhere but I ain't see my nikka Cam tho :mjpls:

Went to Nuvole rooftop bar after that, pretty nice :ehh:

At Tilt on Trade now and my patna almost had to swing on Jeremy Lamb :mjlol:

I seen more D-list celebrities here than in Atlanta :russ:

Charlotte doesnt have much local culture, so count that out. The city is really generic, but it's alright.

That's the word breh. Generic. I've been waiting on something to jump out like "THIS is Charlotte" but I don't think it's coming :manny:

what specifically are yall looking for?

Like damn near everytime we hear something like this, when people break down what they looking for a lot of times it can be pointed out.

Let @Bryan Danielson tell it, Charlotte the hottest city around 🤣

Where are you two brothers from? That would help in making a case for whether you'd like it there or not...
Atlanta. Been there my whole life and not feeling the changes to the city/getting priced out/needing a change of scenery. Everywhere I like is either too cold(Denver/Chicago) or too far/expensive(LA). Got a family too so I'm not just out here on some bachelor shyt neither.

Beautiful black women. Very slow paced. Job market seems kinda weak. Food is aight, nothing to write home about. This is all anecdotal evidence from visiting.

They call it "the next Atlanta" and I don't see that happening at all. It's too slow & the old money white people will fight tooth and nail to stop that from happening.

I don’t know who “they” is.

It feels like people not from charlotte or out of state say that…. Nobody in Charlotte call this place the next Atlanta.

ATL got an :dame: stigma to it that overall no one in CLT wants attached to this city that. (No shade, no shots, no disrespect)

Also got more black people than ATL here (a coli breh posted a receipt in a thread earlier this year, so Not my words)

I'm a 34 year old brother with a partner and a 7 year old who smokes a lot and likes a drink or 3 but really just be chillin. Where should I be if I'm tryna spend like $1500-$2K/month for a 2-3 br. Apt/house?

What i mean is that there is nothing in Charlotte can be identified as a "Charlotte" thing. No unique accent, music, food. There is no particular fashion, or a brand that is popular in Charlotte. Architecturally, it just look like any other southern city. The food scene is just okay, but Charlotte doesnt have a local cuisine, or even a unique take on a popular food item.

Tell people to stop moving here then lol. I keep hearing “it’s slow” and all that. Well people move here daily. Can’t be too slow. Charlotte used to be slow paced and it used to be easy to get around and do shyt. Good luck trying to get into any place during the peak hours of a Saturday afternoon :picard: I just hit 10 years here and Charlotte in 2025 is waaay different than Charlotte in 2015. I need my Charlotte bros to back me up here but shyt was lowkey better when we had to Epicentre and when it was easy to park and chill in Noda and shyt.

I have friends bringing up that “next Atlanta” thing. Nobody thinks that lol. The known folks from Charlotte want Charlotte to be Charlotte. Hell they’re stripping the history away already.

look in North Charlotte, WT. Harris, University, Northlake Mall area.

East Charlotte is where all the Hispanic people live

West Charlotte is Black (Freedom, Beatties Ford, Tuck, West Blvd

Avoid anywhere where you would have to take Independence (east Charlotte)

South Charlotte is white

North Charlotte is Black ( probably don't look by 85 and sugar creek or graham)

I love Charlotte. Moved here from Detroit in 2013 and love it

Some other brehs kinda answered this question, I saw it last night but had to sit on it cuz I had jokes based off the sentence structure but aint wanna come off wrong while you in my “lame ass city”:mjlol:

Look man, one of the bigger problems for CLT is there is a little “too much” to do.

It’s like going to a restaurant that has like 1000 things on the menu so you take 30 mins trynna decide what to order vs going to a 5 Guys (ass city) where there is only like 4 things on the menu and you can pick faster.

I feel you, but to a degree outside of like 5-8 cities. No one else really has that either.

No one saying CLT is NY, the 3 cities in Cali, Chi, Philly, MIA, 2 cities in Texas and etc.

Once you get past a few of the major cities in the country… it’s slim pickings for what you asking

also the last part is incorrect….. if you want a unique take on a popular food item check out my boy Chef Reynaldo
