I've been to Charlotte when visiting my brother, I see why a lot of us from up north and out west move their for a better quality of life and to get away from that hood mentality. Similar reason to why Black people from other cities choose ATL as the place to move to, difference is ATL is mostly overhyped and has been a disgrace and an embarrassment to Black culture since I was in High School. The main reason nikkas go down their is because they actually believe ATL is some booty model paradise and I've already had friends and my cousin tell me it's not like that at all.

Btw, Atlanta is a nice city. So is Charlotte, Orlando, Tampa and Nashville. Memphis could be a nice city, but it needs some work. However, none of those cities are even in the same weight class as Chicago, Washington D.C. and New York. Hell IMO if a city has bumper to bumper traffic, but no light commuter rail system; then you already know that is a rough city to live in.

There's only like 10 major cities with well known rappers (i'm not including small towns). Dallas is one of the biggest cities in the country and they haven't had a well known rapper since the D.O.C.

Minneapolis, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Indianapolis, Tampa Bay/Orlando, Baltimore, Louisville, Milwaukee, don't really have known rappers.

I wouldn't live in any of those cities...

Y'all do repeat the same mistakes tho. It's a whole lot of finger pointing and going on but yet y'all still doing the same shyt we did 30 years ago. Like I said in my other post y'all got the same ass backwards development patterns we got. Plop this new shyt down out in the middle of nowhere instead of letting it grow out organically. Same mindset at play too-southern Cacs who don't want to be near anybody. Y'all need to be building CATS stations and lines out the ass. But y'all not. Can't even get the funding for the other lines set and when they actually do finish folks like me and you gonna be damn near 50. No way in hell the richest part of town shoulda got a transit line first anyway. And they couldn't get the money right so they made the line to the Black side of town a fukking trolley. How folks supposed to get to work? What you think traffic on 77 gonna look like in 10-15 years? Folks moving there out the ass. No train system and roads that can't handle the traffic. What exactly is y'all doing different than us?

Not at all breh. I do consider it to be a mostly "blue collar" city but there are waaay worse places. The South Side and East Side are areas that give Greensboro that rep but overall its mostly nice.

People in Charlotte are trying to make smart decisions about transit. But they still have to fight with the Republicans that run the state government and compete with other cities for Federal government money. The Blue Line got built out to the south first because they had to get white people on board


And they had already planned the trolley. The western light rail line will run to the airport.

Less Gays/DL men
More professional opportunities in finance(not everyone can work for coke cola)
On the border of two states so you experience both cultures
Way less transplants women/people are actually from there
More young professionals
Hoods are less violent/prominent
Better food
Cheaper cost of living
Less HIV
Less Traffic
