I'm moving from DC to NYC next month.

I'm thinking Harlem, but what say you my NYC Brehs, good idea?

My current situation:
- I work from home; gf is a flight attendant.
- We can likely afford a spot up to $1800, but Id rather keep it cheaper so I can use her benefits and travel.
- I wanna be in an up and coming area but not one with a lot of hipsters or cacs.
- We don't need lots of space but we party a lot so we gotta be close to some decent bars or clubs.

$800 is the cheapest I've seen. And that would be for a bum ass studio in a bum ass part of the Bronx or Brooklyn. Either have your paper right, or move to Houston breh, real talk.

being from LA, this is shocking to me.

i always though NY was way more expensive than that. 800 is cheap as fuk. we talbout like the projects in bronx n brookyln?

even in big ass LA, i'd b hard pressed to find a studio for 800. 800 is like im living wid 3 mexicans in the same room type of ish in a gang infested neighborhood out here.
