:yeshrug: We knew this was coming, the offense is garbage without Love, and Swish is our primary 3 point threat. I hope we can win the next home game but I wouldn't be shocked headed to Chicago down 0-2.

Haven't heard him talk yet but i bet LeBron will acknowledge this as him "feeling out" the Bulls.

His lack of offensive aggression was the main difference as far setting a tone. 2 free throw attempts and 6 unforced momentum killing turnovers.

As smart as he is, he tends to be extremely careless when his team needs him.

Bulls hit everything from mid-range and from 3.

Rose and Gasol couldn't miss, our offense was pretty decent despite missing our 3rd and 4th best scorers. Iman stepped up huge, Lebron and those careless turnovers finally caught up to us.

Bron was huge on the glass but damm what happened to his finishing ability, it's been nonexistent lately. I expect Kyrie to always score on his layups, Lebron not so much

Yea LeBron does this. :francis:

Would literally waste a playoff game because he's over thinking. I think the damage was done in the 1st Qrt. He should have come out aggressive then so the team wouldnt have been down so big. However, his feeling them out cost the Cavs.

Next game is do or die. Cant drop 2 at home and expect to win this series.

The problem is LeBron always talks about building habits that leads to post season success later on.
The turnovers and lack of finishing around the rim have been problems all season though. :lupe:

I did like the pick and roll with him and Kyrie. It allows him to play on instinct instead of over thinking out there.

kyrie was hitting crazy circus shots over double teams all night. lebron blew a few easy ones. I expect lebron to make more next time, and maybe kyrie not to hit as many crazy shots. it should all balance out.

Part of the reason they were down so much early was because Miller lost Dunleavy on every possession and he got 5 wide open 3s. Blatt might need to start Marion in game 2.

Yea I dont know why Marion fell out of favor.

The truth is against the Bulls is that it will be a physical defensive series. Put Shump on Rose. Kyrie on Dunleavy. Marion on Butler. LeBron on Noah.

I dont think Rose is going to go off the next game. Just tighten up the defense and they'll win next game.

Yea it was bad they had a great start early and it was hard to come back we was down 16 at one point

also gonna have to figure out how to rotate off a drive from rose and stop leaving gasol open we all collapse when he drives and they either find a open pau or some other man

Shump is gonna have to keep it up hopefully hes confident in his jump shot and will think shoot first when hes open instead of worrying about the drive

our bench wasn't as bad as i thought it would be delly had some good plays triston was strong on the boards Lebron really cost us man down the stretch

They are missing Love.

LeBron drives to the hole so much better when Love is pulling out big men.

He was relying on bad jumpers and trying to get bailed out with fouls when he drove to the hole all game.

This is going to be a really tough series with our depleted roster. Kyrie and Bron were gassed. If Jones could just hit a couple of the 3 or 4 wide open 3s he was gifted that would be a huge boost. I honestly wouldn't have Miller out there at all anymore. I thought Kyrie did alright with his ice defense on Rose, but I thought TT came over too easily to double him sometimes leaving Gasol open for that jumper. Shumpert does well on Rose and I expect him to defend him a few more possessions next game.

Hopefully. Problem is we really don't have the firepower. Shump, Bron, and Kyrie combined for over 70 last night and they still lost. They had to work for every point because Chicago has it so easy defensively. Jimmy Butler let Bron just drive by him on multiple occasions because he knew LBJ had no one to kick it out to when the two bigs rotated to clog the paint. Shump made em pay a few times but its just not the same without Love and JR. I guess we will see what adjustments Blatt makes for next game.

Bulls are going to win in 6 games... maybe in 5 now.

Cavs just don't have the personnel to contend with the Bulls from 1-9 in the roster.

Blatt got outcoached.

Kyrie can't check Rose.

And LeBron has to work extremely hard aainst Butler, especially without the spacing and rebounding that Love brings.

Kyrie needs to become a primary playmaker/defender for this to work. Can't expect LeBron to pick up the rebounding, be the primary playmaker and still put up 30-35 in this series every game.

Y'all understand this?

It's not that easy breh. Sometimes you gotta pick your poison. Kyrie needs to score because no one else can. He would be passing to the same people LBJ is. If the role players cant produce it doesnt matter how may plays Kyrie creates. Kyrie had a couple great PnR plays with Mozgov and TT but they both dropped the ball.

Plus, i dont think saying Blatt is being outcoached when he really doesn't have the personnel to match Chicago's. Like, they got some really good looks for Jones and Miller running his sets. I just don't know what more you can expect from this team right now.

What would you have Blatt do?
