I really don't know if that's fair to say to be honest, he didn't start playing like this until they moved him to SG, which is what he would have been with your team from day 1.

His strengths right now are exactly what the Cavs want from a 2 guard, he's hitting 3s, defending and his usage rate is lower than Waiters was when you had him.

The move to the 2 is the reason for the jump, it took injuries and trades to get him there, but on your team the path would have been Waiters starting at the 2 and sucking, then Blatt going with Wiggins at the 2. I mean, his talent was apparent from jump, his issue is he's not strong enough to body up on SFs and that wouldn't be a problem with your team, because he'd be playing the position he's now excelling at, SG.

They wanted Wiggins to be a 2 guard. I don't know if he would of started right away. They have/had championship aspirations.

It's hard to go back in retrospect to see how that would have changed the roster moves this summer but I think ideally they wanted someone who can hit the 3 ball and defend with size to start alongside Kyrie and LeBron.

I think his development would of been severely slowed.

The roster ideally of what they wanted with Kyrie, LBJ, and Love is almost a mirror of current Portland.

I don't think his development would be slowed, he's not dominating the ball to get his buckets, everything is a quick move or an open 3, I mean the kid is hitting 39% from 3. Realistically it's going to get easier for him when Rubio gets back. I thought it was such a dumb move to trade him, but yall had to bend the knee to the Queen.

Eh, I don't see the similarities to Portland simply because Aldridge isn't one of the worst defenders in the league. Love's defense is really bad, I mean it can't be said enough just how bad he is on that side of the floor, and unlike Aldridge he's not nearly 7"0.

I'm flat out telling you LeBron would of tried to turn the nikka into a spot shooter. :heh:

And Batum is no where near the player LeBron is. I'm not giving you an exact player for player comparison but more so how the team should be constructed.

The thing is, he's pretty good at that right now though, you'd probably get similar numbers from him as he's doing on the Wolves. And in a year or two when Bron looks a little slower, it would be hard to deny Wiggins taking over the team :wow:

You mean you want the PG/PF featured on offense? Cause that's what the Blazers do, Bron would have to basically turn himself into Wes & Batum combined....

I'll just say this..

As badly as I wanted Wiggins to stay I knew what time it was on July 11th.

Essentially yes except swap out LBJ with Kyrie as the PG when all 3 are on the court.
Let Love initiate the offense from the high post.
Mozgov setting picks.
Kyrie and James in motion and have Shumpert spotting up.
When LBJ or Kyrie have the ball run the pick and roll or pick and pop with Love all day and night.

Let Kyrie and JR run the offense when LBJ sit. JR seems to be the only player on the team that knows where to get Love a pass in the post.

We all did, the Queen came to town.

Blatts system could work like that, but Bron won't buy into it and would prefer to play iso-ball. And God forbid you get Mark Jackson :scusthov: it'll be more of the same shytty LeBron-centric offense that works against bad teams but falls apart against good ones.

See that's the crux of the problem. LBJ ain't trying to expend any extra energy being in motion and he wants the ball in his hands.

He cries about people needing to "sacrifice" for the team's sake and then does the complete opposite. He's a poor leader of men.

Best case scenario would be KG gets bought out and you get him to scream at LeBron for the remainder of the season.

Best case scenario hasn't happened yet.

His ego won't allow his team to be bad for long.

LBJ has an ego and he's doing all this as a power trip. He wants to show players in all sports that he controls everything.

He wants Blatt fired for that reason alone but doesn't want the blood on his hands.

The talent is there now and the pieces on paper fit better now. Probably one of the most talented teams he's ever had.

He has to buy in because he has too much riding on this with his sponsors/image/reputation.

I told you January would be very ugly and that they would be under .500.

Every time I see you post about Drummond and/or Waiters I get a little more disappointed with the decisions that our front office (mostly Dan Gilbert) has made.

I love Cleveland so much but gotdamn do our sports frustrate me :to:
