Should be open to utilities too. Most of these thots would be furious cause that's their weave money, but on the flip side caring for a child requires a lot more than a few hundred dollars a month. How would you know if most these men don't want the. Responsibility that comes with it? That's part of the reason why there are so many deadbeats. A woman has a child and the man is nothing more than an ATM to them. Doesn't get to just be a dad, he's just the bank to a scorned woman. That's really the next thing that needs to get done. Especially with female equality becoming more of a thing. Background checks, credit checks, to actually determine who is the most fit parent. And not just awarding custody to the mother because "it's the right thing to do".

I thought child support mostly helped pay womens rent/mortgages/bills or food expenses

it shouldn't be though. when you in a relationship and both live in the same apartment or house, the rent and shyt is split 50/50 never with the consideration of the amount of electricity or water being used by the child. that shyt is just not even factoring into the equation until the child is old enough to pay bills.

I think it's a very unfair act to charge the father with supporting the Mother as well, if she isn't able bodied to pay for her own rent and shyt then yea I might feel some sympathy but not for her, but for not wanting my child to go without lights and shyt. but to automatically charge a man/father with those bills on top of making sure his son or daughter is taking care of is wrong.

Well, there are two sides to that story. Child support would be used to assist in paying for things related to supporting the child. That would include rent and utilities.

However, what if the woman lives at home with her mother? Then, what is she doing with that child support money? There's no rent or utilities. She's using food stamps (WIC, women infant children program) to buy food. Grandma is getting leached. What is baby momma spending the child support money on? I hope she isn't spending it on weaves, purses, jewelry, clothes for herself, expensive coffees and dinners for herself, lotto tickets, club/bar, coke/heroin/pot, and just anything else that isn't for child support.

it costs about 250k to raise a child until adulthood. 1/3 of that goes towards housing. it makes sense that child support be spent on things like rent, electricity, water etc
