Nothing should be free. Haitians dont need charity. Hopefully this 30 billion will be jobs and unless they are going to import thousands of Chinese to do the work (which they cant) some fortunate Haitians can learn the technical skills to run these operations.

They can and they will. Chinese have imported their own to work time and time again.

A more recent up to date article.
Work Begins Soon to Bring Haiti into 'Silk Road' After China Invests US$30 billion to Develop Infrastructure

"Silk Road" work is expected to begin December on projects for clean water, sanitation, public bathrooms, electricity, communications, and more to Port-au-Prince.

The People's Republic of China is preparing to carry through with plans to invest a massive US$30 billion in developing Haiti's infrastructure, including power plants, sanitation works, water systems, railways, affordable housing, and marketplaces, in an agreement that is expected to have a major social, economic, and developmental impact.

This week, workers have started to be contacted for the approximately 20,000 jobs needed to carry out the ambitious initiative, Haitian press has reported.

Commitment to the program was first announced by the Haitian Press Agency in the beginning of August, following an eight-day visit of a Chinese delegation to Haiti. The initial idea was concieved at the Belt and Road initiative summit in Beijing, where infrastructure projects were proposed to over 100 countries around the world.

Last week, the Municipality of Port-au-Prince formally accepted the project's initial phase, which will begin with an investment of US4.711 billion targeting the country's capital, where Chinese investment will partner with Haitian companies to develop clean water and drainage systems, road infrastructure, sanitation projects, communications infrastructure, and a restoration of Port-au-Prince's old city.

This accord may finally break the grip that the eternal exploiters of Haiti had for decades on the poor people of Haiti while they greatly benefited from favors and monopolies from corrupt governments,” said Bernard Sansaricq, the former Senate President of Haiti, to Huffington Post

Some of the most ambitious projects include a sewage plant which can treat 180,000 cubic meters per day, and a water purification plant that can handle 225,000 cubic meters per day.

The city will look to tackle urban pollution and sanitation by installing 450 public toilets, and implementing a public garbage collection system and waste landfills.

In a city that has frequent blackouts, the project will install a 2000 megawatt gas-fired power station.

Communications systems will receive an upgrade, with the aim of providing reliable cell service across the municipality, and a central internet center which is able to run emergency dispatch.

While the initial investment of nearly US$5 billion is only tackling the Port-au-Prince region, it is expected that over the course of the rest of the nearly US$30 billion promised the rest of Haiti will be covered as well.

I don't trust these project videos especially when they come to Africa and Haiti but...

IF this is true repeat IF then the elites are going to definitely hate this...

There's ALWAYS a catch. Don't care what some of you nikkas in here say.

nikkaz always want to "debate" semantics until....they suddenly have to completely depend on other races/outsiders for basic employment and resources. :beli:even in BLACK countries. Its bad enough we're in that condition here, but nikkaz want the same thing EVERYWHERE?

nikkaz don't look at the big picture. It's not just them doing this in Haiti, they are "making deals" in black countries and slowly trying to take over black peoples shyt. nikkaz didn't see those threads about how Chinese business owners were treating black customers in Africa? They were "nice" before but once they got what they wanted (businesses, property etc) they stopped giving a fukk.

Nobody's saying it will happen overnight, but that IS what they're trying to do. I'm not saying they're trying to enslave black people, but I AM saying they are slowly screwing over nikkas in diff countries. It's not even really as slow as nikkaz in here think. More nikkaz around the world will be calling the Chinaman "Boss" in a few years, because nikkaz think they just wanna be our "friends":mjlol:

Ignore patterns brehs

Think what China is doing in black nations and communities is just a "business deal" brehs

Jamaicans now have to speak Mandarin to get jobs from Chinese bosses in their own country. Y'all butter biscuit ass nikkas will say they should be grateful for the "opportunity to work" though

"ITS GOOD FOR HAITI!"

This is completely random but I see black people working in Asian owned establishments all the time. I've never seen a black ((AA) person working in a Hispanic owned establishment. Like ever! No shade to anyone just truff.

Of course preferably we would own and employ more of our own.

Just saying.

Bro I only read the first page and was responding to the stuff I saw on it. I haven't read the last few pages yet. I wasn't trying to be edgy, but I am glad that some other black men get it. Usually these threads are annoying because there are so many delusional nikkas trying to justify what Chinese are doing.

i'd rather have the chinese there than the White Supremacist Clintons
Your colonists race doesn't matter when they're still reaching into your bowl and eating everything.

Haitians need a complete restructuring, and since wealthy AAs and Africans are dragging their feet and trying to keep up with the proverbial Joneses, China is going to take the lead. If the corrupt b*stards running most of those cities don't get their shyt together, they'll drop the ball and this will be a 30B advantage for China with Haiti still as the loser.
