I'm from Asia and studied in England, and i distinctly remember showing looking at the textbooks and was like :mindblown::ohhh::shaq: i learnt all this shyt a couple years ago :yeenknowmayne:
It really is different as hell. My little cousins would decimate their age equivalent across the pond :oggordonliu:

The West gotta stop their game up

School shootings gonna skyrocket if you put any more pressure on the kids.

Yeah I ponder this a lot.

Technically most of the people who presently inhabit earth are Chinese or Indian....

That's just two different countries. :mindblown:..

That ain't actually true, China/India are just 2.7 billion combined.

World population is 7.6 billion.

So China/India just 35% of the total.

Asia's entire population is 58% of the global total though. You need Japan, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Philippines, Vietnam, and the rest to get that number up.

But that just emphasizes how different they are. Japan and Pakistan ain't hardly have nothing in common, or the Philippines and India. So lumping them all together hides the diversity. I'd say that East Asia and South Asia are a lot more different from each other as North America and South America.

(I just realized there are people living outside their country too, but I looked it up and that's another 50 million Chinese and 16 million Indians, which is a lot but only 1% of global population still.)

Yep, I remember when i was in china, helping high school kids with their pronunciation of English. They were die hard with the studying. They literally went to school from 6am to 9:30pm.

I mean they had short breaks, like lunch, dinner and nap time. But still nothing like in the U.S.

The instructors had to do push-ups whenever the students mispronounced something at the orientations. Heck they were even learning how to read chemistry in English :wtf:. One instructor even had to go to the hospital :wtf:. These cat had dedication. Lights out, on the campus was at 10:15, but some cats would have their flashlights and keep on studying. Not to mention a couple times, some students came to us for some extra help. You know n1ggas wouldn't even dare doing some sh*t like that. At 10:00pm we tryna function and get some p*ssy...

From that moment on, I stepped my game up. But these people are like robots. They can't really think for themselves or form an opinion....

But don't sleep on the Chinese they're going to be a problem, if the U.S. doesn't step it up soon...

We need more STEM

Above the fray.
IF YOU DON'T STUDY LONG, YOU STUDY WRONG.

That was a common phrase used by a Pastor at a church we attended as kids. Mentioned education in every sermon I ever heard from him.

Not sure he was talking about this.

But when I was in China, in the major cities, you felt that presence that there could be well over a billion people there. Because it was nothing to walk down the street and see like 5,000-10,000 people everywhere....

Coming from LA, that shyt is mindblowing.....

They do have suburbs and cities that aren't as densely populated though....

what always amazes me is the number of cities in China that have multimillion populations. China has maybe 10 cities larger than NYC

Thats a direct invasion of the US constitution and is labeled "cruel and unusual punishment".

It's several steps into authoritism and a dictatorship.
