I've met WAY too many black women who claim they can't find a good BM but when you start asking questions and getting deeper in the conversation a totally different picture is painted for you.

For instance I met a BW a few weeks ago who claim there aren't any decent BM in Atlanta. I'm like really? I know all type of decent black men in Atlanta with multiple degrees and I'm not even a woman out here looking to date them. A BM I know just got married to Asian chick, he is a director of sales , has an MBA and he make over 200K. So are you telling me BM like this refuse to date BW? I don't buy it. And I told the BW I was talking to that. More likely BW overlooked him because he is just an average looking dude, doesn't have the hood look(tattoos everywhere), is a bit chubby, etc. Doesn't have an over the top personality. I'm not trying to clown dude looks at all. After all he is a very successful brother. It's just that he isn't a nikka who is trying to get by on his looks or swag so probably for many BW he wasn't even on their radar yet they claim to be looking for decent, successful BM.

So anyway I asked this chick who said she can't find a decent BM what she did last weekend because I suspected she didn't even hang out in spots with decent BM. Sure enough I was right. She said she went to some hood club. So asked what about the weekend before that(another hood club). Basically all of her hang out spots were hood spots where the chances you would find decent, successful BM would be between slim and zero.

Then I asked her about all the dudes she dated in past. Every dude she had dated basically either never went to college, had a criminal record, did drugs, had several baby mommas, etc. It's like it's a surprise to no one that you haven't had any success. So I'm like is that the only type of BM that like you or is that the only type of BM you like? Either way it's a problem and until you figure out what's going on there you are going to continue to have the same problems.

In my opinion the biggest problem BW have is usually the BM they like and the places they hang out at usually run counter to finding the other things they say they are looking for. I mean it's the same old story we've been hearing constantly for the last 15 years. Incredibly women are struggling to put 2 and 2 together. It really isn't that hard.

I'm a nanny. I've built a business around servicing kids and families. Anyway, the amount of single moms that try to holler who didn't want to holler pre baby cracks me up. I had the same qualities I had five years ago. I still listen to the same music.
