1 out of 100 = lots. :francis: Because it used to be 1 out of 450, didn't it? :francis:
New math. :francis:
1 out of 100 is way more than than 1 out of 450

now lets see how many people out of 100 are NFL players :heh:

they wont understand here.. but glad to see that you actually have something worth citing whereas I've seen other bums on here be proud that they raking in less than 100K in expensive ass NYC or the Bay.

And I agree, 1 million dollars aint shyt these days. Inflation is a bytch. Cats need to strive to make way more than 100K

a million aint shyt yet most Americans won't ever earn that much in a single year, won't ever have that much sitting in a bank account, and a good chunk won't earn that much individually over a lifetime. :heh:

"Get yourself a fall guy," Borland says one of the former players advised. The former player, whom Borland declined to name, told the rookies that if they ran into legal trouble, their designated
fall guy would be there to take the blame and, if necessary, go to jail. "'We'll bail him out,'" Borland says the former player assured them.

So...its possible there were players on the 49ers who had this conversation with Borland, but didn't have it with Aldon Smith?:what:

there are 1.2 million people in US earning 300k a year per household
there are 1700 players in the NFL who will retire with millions (and many will not) and risk serious injuries

there are lots of people retiring with millions compared to how manny NFL players retire with millions :manny:
thats all I wanted to say. you dont have to play pro football to retire with millions.

I think Football overall is safe just b/c of what it offers.

It provides a hope/dream of a better life to alot of less fortunate Black kids and their families. If you think about it, basketball only allows 12-15 kids per team. Football is 45-50 kids, even more on college rosters, almost all of whom are on scholaship and many have dreams of going pro.

The potential reward can outweighs the risk....whereas a white guy like Borland from who prob didn't grow up poor, sees it the other way.

Now if the economic conditions in America ever evened up between Blacks/whites, then yeah football could be in serious trouble. :usure:

But maybe that's all part of "the mans" plan :ohhh:

what if all the QBs became black?

this same mindset is why we are set back beyond the other races. Our people unfortunately have took it to the extreme in thinking nothing besides sports & entertainment is attainable
