I'm actually a fan of the R&B genre, I recall a teenage Usher's first hit on Video Soul produced by Puff (Think of You - '94). I was in high school when "You Make Me" came out, that ran the whole school year. I recall CB's first hit being "Run It"? and then "Yo" being a breakout hit for young teenagers. They were both performers who crossed over to pop easily. These are just my observations, Usher has his flowers for his era, CB should get his for this era. Usher is the father where CB is the son. Again, I didn't prefer either one of the other, just stating what it is.
