With what though? Chris doesn’t have any classic albums - Confessions is an undeniable classic R&B record. Chris has some great songs but what are his signature hits? These things are more clear with Usher
You’re just out of touch

Climax is trash and both of those CB records are better. That whole album it was on that usher released was trash and forgotten. That record doesnt move anybody and an looses easily in a versus.

Climax was praised by critics and charted for 20 weeks

The album was also well received

Just because you say its trash doesnt make it so lol

Having watched all the versus battles I would bet money it would get a better reception than a lot of Chris hits

Kiss, kiss, for ex, was cool when it was released but not particularly memorable besides the hook. The vocals dont standout

This is the same dumb shyt as people saying Mya should battle Ciara lmao

Chris Brown would completely annihilate Trey Songz. Stop it.
I was always more of a Trey guy. I was in the hat store yesterday and they was playing old Trey shyt had me nostalgic lol.

Anyway, Usher would annihilate Chris Brown so what you really saying? Trey and Chris makes more sense because they're both from Virginia and came out in that same era. Usher has a lot of longevity on Chris and I don't even understand why they amping that match up. Usher has an All-Time classic R&B album and just more iconic songs.

Chris can beat Trey but at least they're contemporaries and at the end of the day who wins does not matter. It's a celebration of the music for the most part.

nope. CB got way more joints that are staples in clubs and parties over the years. Yall dont go out or interact with women so yall prob out of touch. For example chicks go crazy when that rihanna birthday cake track comes on. Usher got yeah which would resonate like that. but in a 20 track versus format he looses cause CB's joints will hit harder outside 6 or 7 usher joints. Usher doesn't have anything really after confessions that competes.

I can generalize too. You go to whack clubs full of ugly bytches. Their votes don't count :umad:

I'm actually surprised at the amount of CB caping here. Usher has way more memorable songs. I can barely remember anything CB did after that stargate bullshyt in 07

But he wouldn't. Even if u have Usher winning it's not a landslide. I honestly believe Trey Songz wont get 5 rounds against Breezy. And im a Trey fan. As far as Usher. I explained my thoughts a couple pages back.

And that's fine and well. The fact is 80% of "verzuz" audience wasn't outside when usher was at his peak either.

People also aren't recognizing that all the verzuz so far haven't had anyone making MODERN hits.

Breezy has them though.

So yea Usher will win the rounds when he plays Confessions,U remind Me, Burn and Nice and Slow. But then what?

You Think Stuff like Climax OMG and Moving Mountains are beating stuff like Dueces,Heat,Loyal,No Guidance?? lol

And people gotta stop the disrespect like Breezy dont have classics. Say Goodbye and Dont Judge me can go against Usher's top songs.

Some of y'all nikkas are just old. Chris has a more substantial catalogue which works well in this type of environment. We all can argue about what will last, better albums, who dances better, etc. This isn't about who's the better artist, Usher imo, but who can put together a better and more cohesive 20, which CB can easily pull from just this last decade. I personally don't like the matchup since CB's leans more into that pop lane thus his songs being a lot more uptempo than Usher's.
This is exactly what would happen. Chris would go uptempo/pop and Usher wouldn't be able to match the energy for that many rounds.

Better artist, Usher
Better singer, Usher
Better dancer, CB

However none of that matters. When you're putting together 20 bangers, not necessarily 20 classic songs, CB is gonna be hard to deal with. Once the tempo is raised, he's gonna be hard to beat because Ushers classics are generally traditional R&B. Would be a great battle.

who y’all think tuning into these battles? 15 year olds lol. You seen the people in the chat during snoop vs dmx? Grown people are on the internet and are tuning in. Confessions is smoking Chrus kiddie shyt. And in general his post rih rih shyt outside a few singles hasn’t been it

Now ya'll get why a lot of us called it lunacy to put R. Kelly in the tier with MJ, Stevie, and Prince. I will say this though, R. Kelly is a lot closer to them than Chris Brown is to R. Kelly. Usher>>>> Chris except for dancing.
That shyt still got you mad huh? Lol
R kelly got more hits than prince And stevie wonder bruh. He's beating the both of them in a versuz

No, I wasn't mad over that at all. I'm just pointing out the hypocrisy and again Versuz battles aren't about hits. And no he wouldn't beat either of them. In fact, an ideal battle for R. Kelly in a Versuz would be Mary J. Blige or Usher.

I mean that’s 80 percent of “verzuz” audience though.

I’m very aware this is a “era” battle. But facts is Chris wins TODAY.
no way 80% were tuned into the Fab/JadaKiss, Badu/Scott, Snoop/DMX, Babyface/Teddy Riley which were some of the biggest ones
None of those artists have recent hits
I bet no less that 50% responding in that Snoop/DMX battle were age 35+
It would be more for Usher/CB because the ladies that pushed that Confessions album diamond would be in there

nikkas be confusing hits with smashes and classics. We saw that shyt in Fab versus Jada. Fab had the bigger hits and the girl records but that don't mean shyt when you got classics even if they didn't chart. Usher got the combo of smashes/classics. IMO Usher got like 10 songs that are going to be hard to beat. Out of these 10 I could see Chris Brown maybe getting 2 or 3 rounds at most. Then Usher still got others like OMG, There Goes My Baby, You Don't Have to Call, My Boo, I Need A Girl and other joints that are strong as fukk to. To me those up tempo club type joints don't hold up as well in this format.

1. Yeah
2. Confessions Part II
3. U Remind Me
4. Burn
5. U Got It Bad
6. Nice & Slow
7. Love In The Club
8. You Make Me Wanna
9. Lovers and Friends
10. There Goes My Baby
