speaking of stevie, fun fact that chris was the 3rd youngest artists to have a number 1 hit, only stevie and some other person were younger. Chris had a legendary start but we all know what happen, and obviously when you get black balled you wont have access to all the top producers and songwriters that it takes to keep that going. but chris still did what he could and still going.
usher released his first album and not much came from it, 3-4 years and a ton of development later, he started hitting.
chris had top hits, grammys, platinum records immediately, then 3-4 years later, he's in scandal.
two objectively different careers but as far as subjectively, i listen to brown more.
as far as them competing, its more about a who had the better producer/writer.
