It seems like she has a lot of influence and that the democrat party follows her lead. I don't know how much direct influence she has, but it does seem like she is preoccupied with being the Anti-trump

Pelosi is figuratively & literally the 3rd most powerful person in our Government. She's the 3rd in line from being POTUS and what she says basically goes in the House as majority leader. I mean, she actually got a full impeachment hearing without consignment of any Republican, of course she could of prepped for this to occur and rather burned the bridge forever with Trump make it to where her ideas are funneled through with his big ego thinking he achieved it. Because Trump would go with anything if it was made to believe he's responsible. The problem is that Pelosi and all the Democrats hate Trump so much that even entertaining the idea of trying to work things with him is revolting. Hence the whole failed impeachment effort. Plus, which is sicker to believe, but this is what I do believe, Pelosi and them WANTED this to break out in the states and want it to fail, knowing Trump would be in over his head, because it's an election year and proof that Trump being the worst president possible is all they care. I don't truly think that THEY want to provide any aid or effort. This charade over this BS stimulus deal right now is more about partisan drama than really thinking about the people.

So how does that affect anything that goes on in the Senate or White House?

From February

"Grim Reaper" Mitch McConnell admits there are 395 House bills sitting in the Senate: "We're not going to pass those"

During a television interview, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said that 395 bills sitting in the Senate are not going to be passed.

That isn't an excuse of not attempting to do something, ESPECIALLY since they went out their way to push an impeachment. The House and the Senate approved an emergency stimulus bill in April... so, miss me that nothing at least could of been attempted. As I said before, all Pelosi had to do was massage Trump's ego to make it seem like it was his idea, and McConnell would have no choice but to work with it because Trump's involved. A lot of other legislation passed simply due to cooperation. So stop making excuses when not even an attempt to address this concern back in January wasn't made DESPITE making world news.

Trump was acquitted by the senate in early February. Corona sh*t really Picked up steam and hit the fan in the US around March. I hope someone corrects him bc bad faith statements like this become talking points for the gullible and definitely for the idiots on the republican side. Not to mention, statements like this foolishly and wrongfully encourage the idea that people can’t walk and chew gum at the same time.
They knew about the rona way before March.

Chris Rock been out of touch, I liked his tamborine special cause he was saying real shyt about relationships and since he just went through it, he had insight. but his social commentary has been bad for a while now. I remember he was on the radio once saying like rap music is more commercial now cause black people have made it now or something to that effect. and I was like wtf

I read his interview in the Times, and I didn't get at all the point he was making about the impeachment hearings and Nancy Pelosi. He didn't seem to have basic knowledge of the process or the chronology.
