Bigger picture stuff. If she gives up her earning years to raise your kids and take care of your home, she has helped you make your money whether you want to admit it or not.

Plus, for every year she doesn't work, she doesn't have taxable income, which means she doesn't put money towards social security for later in life after you decide to ditch her.
