The LITERAL definition of faith is a lack of evidence.
God is just a label in my opinion. Absolute infinity (i.e., everything) may be god, but that's just because I called it that (absolute infinity could be just that, absolute infinity). The man in the sky god cannot be proven or not proven as of yet. There really isn't any argument there. You can't use faith as evidence.

If I'm a Christian then what are you? The Last Supper confirmed a new covenant. Jesus did not come to replace or break the law he fulfilled it. If you are looking for God you must go through Jesus. John 14:6 KJV states I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh unto the Father but by me.

Also when asked which of the commandments was the greatest in Matthew 22:34-40 KJV Jesus responded Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and all thy mind.
