Public Enemy movie produced by Spike Lee, Flavor Flav steals the show, a lot of the social issues still relevant especially today we're living in a time of racial tension and increase consciousness I can kinda see it. :ehh:

I can't see a Wu-Tang movie being made at all what would the plot be like?

I personally wouldn't mind a Jay-Z movie from his hustling days up to Reasonable Doubt or Nas from dropping out out of 8th Grade up to Illmatic.

I don't understand how dudes say the West Coast is more interesting and East Coast rappers don't have the stories. I think they definitely do. Nas the son of a jazz player, grew up in the crack epidemic in NYC's largest housing project, in a time where hip hop was exploding in the inner city especially in Queensbridge with Marley Marl and the whole Bridge Wars, dude dropped out in 8th Grade, seeing Ill Will murdered, meeting rap legends like Rakim, being turned down by labels, finally signing dropping arguably the greatest album ever at 20 years old.

Jay's upbringing in Do or Die Bed Stuy Marcy Projects to a single mother, drug dealing days, shooting his brother, high school with guys like AZ/Biggie/Busta Rhymes, coming up under Jaz-O and Big Daddy Kane, meeting Dame Dash and the independent grind starting Rocafella and releasing Reasonable Doubt, ultimate rags to riches story.

I wouldn't mind seeing a proper Cam'ron movie since that Killa Season shyt was straight :duck:.

I was about to say that. They should do it in the same format similar to how Michael Rappenport did the Tribe movie

A wu tang about their formation/pre wu tang years is the only movie that needs to be made. How rza brought together his friends to be the greatest in history is the only movie that needs to happen but well get the post wu movie if anything

Yeah that's what I thought of too, a pre Wu movie, that could be dope.... Could take it up to the formation of the group even and their first major success. So could blend in a sense, but should definitely start pre Wu and how everyone was brought together and with that philosophy, also the issues prior, what everyone was doing, etc. It could actually be really really dope and they have a global enough fan base for it to work...

PE is just not on NWA level, quality, impact & story wise. You can't even play the 'they too militant for whitey card' when Ice Cube was far more militant than Chuck.

maybe the SOC movie was made because.....they produced it themselves??

fukk, I mean Chuck D and Flava Flav can do that too if they wanted to....I mean if they can afford it.

No Father To MY Style.. A Son Unique
More east coast delusion. And what is so compelling about childhood rza?
Ohio people are the ones who tell the stories

Rza grew up wit gza who was making the same rounds as kane rakim biz etc but never got the chance to shine like them. A sinple coming of age story involving the streets of brooklyn. Mastering 5 percent as a younging traveling to party to party as hip hop was in its infancy. Leaving the 5percent and hip hop stuff alone and Moving to ohio to sell drugs which ended up wit wu tang making outta state connections (killarmy) ghost getting shot, their boy killed and rza on trial for attenpted murder. Dude wins the case and goes back to hip hop, gathers his real life friends growing up and puts everythjng together and changes the game business wise as well as culturally.

Rzas story is one kf the betterhip hop stories. He had the same manager and came up wit the greats but decided to go back to staten island and put everyone out himself, creating a top 3 rap group all time and put an entire borough on his back. Redfined production in hip hop and overall genius. It needs to be made

Jay story would be great

and nas just did time is illmatic

ghost n Rae could be crazy

but it won't do the numbers... the west was more entertaining the east was cool as hell. cube might be the best writer in hip hop history from RAP to movies and filthy. dre is one of the best producers and a tech mogul. snoop worth hundreds of millions and doggy style outsold damn near everything. nikka is the most popular personality in hip hop history. suge is suge. Pac is the biggest and to some the best ever. everything is so connected to a core. everything comes bacc to dre.

the environment the beefs the gang element

it just feels different. I ain't sayin don't do um but the east can't have the same expectations. rza is not loved like dre, Rae and ghost weren't as big as snoop by any measure. all I'm sayin is global branding is wu. but the results draw the crowds. cube did way more for black people than pe as well. I'm rambling but y'all get what I'm sayin
