I just don't see it. Maybe if Chuck and them did it themselves or Spike crowd funded it for a select theater/digital release. Like Chuck said..the appeal to foolishness just isnt there, I just don't see it because outside of Flav there's not much "nignorance" there to entice viewers. Jews aren't gonna put out a movie where one of the biggest plot point is Griff going in on jews co-signing the book "The Secret Relationship Between Blacks And Jews".

Breh I'm not saying I don't find it interesting or that hip hop heads/old schoolers won't..but it just doesn't scream dollar bills for these big companies. I'd go see it but like Chuck said, it would probably fit better as a documentary. Mostly everything PE did was empowering towards blacks, when was the last time you saw a big studio release a empowering black film? SOC wasn't thay much different from how the portray us in film, music and TV so it's not hard to see why it was successful.

I believe people gonna hell talk about Flavor Flav than Chuck D and the movie itself........Honestly, I don't like the idea about making movie about PE.

The only Biopic films that would work or I aprrove it would be Run DMC.

I always laughed at NWA being called the worlds most dangerous group...and the effects of chuck and PE go alot further than the actual music they released or speeches chuck has been giving for 30 years,the entire industry right now as it is set up digitially is a complete creation of Chuck's vision and disdain for Def Jam and the major labels caking off young cats in the game...

Like I said they know Cube from other movies and Dre from headphones. There is no connection to PE at all from this generation. i don't understand the argument here. The leader of PE himself says there won't be a PE movie because there is no c00nery to sell to the masses therefore the big wigs won't be interested.

If the execs were smart, they would let a grassroots raised budget for the PE movie and release the uncensored version, at a time where police brutality and pro-black stances are rising again.

I am the one that speak that ANYONE that come from the streets and rap about what they know of the streets through their own experience, what they witnessed, or game they know of and want to share are real nikkaz.. because they are speaking on things they directly know.

But, by the IGNORANT overhyped term "studio gangsta"... all of them have rapped about shyt that they never did, exaggerated tales and fantasies, and hood shyt.

A studio gangsta is someone like VANILLA ICE or BO$$, people that PRETEND they're from the streets when their background is nothing of the streets. Now of days, you got ignorant fools that claim you have to be a super-gangster in real life or you are a studio gangsta, or have to prove you been shot before, or slang a hundred keys, or a prison record. And you got these fake as rappers that want to prove to "keep it real" by getting themselves arrested as a publicity stunts and all types of shyt. The reality is that they are entertainers.

To answer short, no they aren't studio gangsta the same way NWA aren't studio gangstas, because they speak commentary about what's going on in their hood, through their experiences, to their lifestyle while living in the hood, existing in the hood PERIOD. So what if 50 Cent got shot and been to jail? The only thing is he used that to sale records just as NWA talk about the madness from their hood to sale records. PE have 4 high quality albums in their run and the guidance of Amerikkkas Most Wanted. NWA only have 2* and an EP
