All them Dipset dikkeiders messed the game up

These dudes love to talk about Jim Jones influence, the wallet chains and skull shyt, everything but the music.

I fukked with the Dip Set mostly because of Cam, still will go to bat for 98-04 Cam any day, but the super stans never want to address reality. Jim Jones and Juelz was C- rappers that got by on swag and production. There was no underlying substance which is why they can't tour and the streaming numbers is trash.

BOTH jim and chuck d are wrong :russ:

Jim being labeled that cause of his antics and actions, not cause of his music :russ:
Chuck wrong for bringing up arenas and shyt when Jim is right, the youth not really playing Nas :russ:

Feel like Nas is living off his name. Like yeah he dropped albums but what was Nas last great song??

Nobody around the world cares about Nas new songs, like any other rapper he can do concerts in Europe based on old shyt

I will give Jim this much credit…

For him to be as talked about as he is when I haven’t met anyone in real life…young or old from ANY city or region that can readily name 3 Jim Jones songs…is mind blowing.
Certified gangsta and Ballin are the only songs I can think of and I'm an old head lol

this is a result of yall nikkas gassing jim jones up to spite cam now he thinks he's bigger than nas

also young nikkas don't listen to either of these nikkas, he's feeling himself because the song he stole from cash cobain became a lil meme but lets be real here unless you're a diehard dipset fan or an oldhead you're not going out of your way to bump any new jim jones music in 2025

"First seen her when I told nas; I'd smack off his kufi" :ahh:

I thought Jim Jones was a Nas stan? I'm not defending Jim at all, dude is a bit of a goofy but I don't think he meant it in a way to discredit Nas. He's been on record several times talking about how he looked up to Nas.

What the last great Jim Jones song? :skip:

Nas dropped numerous great tracks on the KD-Magic series but even if you want to ignore that, most of Nas contemporaries basically retired. What 50 year old rappers is dropping new solo material that people around the world care about?

Hip hops sole focus and conception of youth is fucjing TIRED. If it cant grow past that in 50 years than its just a fad for teens and not a real genre which i dont agree with.

Its a ploy from labels to keep the blood fresh and pay nobodies peanuts and keep people in line. Period.

It has NEVER been soley dictated by highschoolers and the youth. Ever. In its history.

Thats POP shyt

Sad days. Culture is a buzz word these radiohosts use for a catch all. They dont know shyt about it. This what you get when you want it both ways. Is it a culture, or is it about capital. If you solely focus on who has buzz online and capital moving then you are part of the issue. You are celebrating all the things hip hop is supposed to NOT be about. This is why the same names and conversation is rotated on these shows.

Jims recent albums in no way were more popular than nas’ and i havent even heard the nas albums yet. Nas circled the globe with wu tang TWICE on a 2 year long worldwide tour… 30 years after dropping mind you.

last big venue jim was him he flopped and got ate by the lox and could have never filled even with dips with him. jim couodnt sell out a club rn solo except it certain cities due to this gang shyt. hanging out “in the trenches” like its something ti brag about at 50 years old tryna stay young is the saddest shyt I see in this generation. Actors. All of them.

Disgusting times we live in where this is celebrated.

I don’t think Jim is shading Esco like most are assuming

To be real outside of Fat Joe, Jim is one of the few rappers I’ve seen and heard stan Nas and every time his name is brought Jimmy says he is the greatest and has ahead of the curb since day 1 and always gives him props

Like for real Jim is a real Nas stan like my boy @Ziggiy
