never liked the phrasing with stuff like this as it misleads black americans into thinking they will be able to trace back to one specific place of origin. we are an amalgamation of hundreds of tribes and kingdoms from senegal to angola.
don't rely on dna test for dual citizenship. your dna is going to place you all over west africa. you can literally randomly put your finger on a map of west africa and wherever it lands, you will most likely have genetic ancestry from that place (between senegal and angola). so choose a country based off of interest, whether you vibe with the culture and people, or if you see opportunities to build with the locals.
