To be exact Cilvaringz Tariq sent 5 Dutch man's with money and equipment to record verses from artists, probably 45 percent of the material.
Cilvaringz did not fly over, apparently Remedy wanted to go toe to toe with him like no holds barred.
Ok see. Thats what i mean by “hiding” information and not being clear that other guy alluded to. If he did that thats another thing altogether. Sheesh.

Good info tua

This 5 minute sampler sounding like trash. I bet they took some of the worst stuff on the album and compiled some shytty 5 minute sampler. :why: Maybe this album is some mid but the full album instrumentals I heard a bit ago sounded pretty fire. Hopefully somebody leaks the whole thing really soon

Even if you asked them if they would prefer to be paid upfront, or take the back end money with whatever the project turns out to be, ALL of them would take the upfront money, except maybe RZA. They're shortsighted as such, or at least prefer guaranteed over an estimated minimum. But you can't have it both ways. Most people are like that.

RZA even tried to ask them Rae the same with A Better Tomorrow, telling Rae that he could potentially see more on the back end, and Raekwon refused to be on the album without RZA meeting his asking price.

But in reality, tht math wu album started the SAME way

A meth/math album that couldnt get a release so they turned it into a “wu” album and ugod aint even on it and gza once.

Wu members have the same problem with rza for projects. And now ugod got rza making a solo for him.

Exactly.

If this album did what the Math Wu album did, there would have been no backlash but, b/c of the price point & the press/infamy this concept and sale garnered, people got issues. And I'm not saying some of these issues aren't valid but the concept just did better than anyone thought it would when they signed off on it.

And the U-God stuff is extra funny coming after he sued RZA. Twice.
