This game though. Something special. It looked good but this is blowing away my expectations.

This battle system is fukking amazing.

Trebuchim on Lune gives a random stain per free aim hit.

Combine that with the Dead Energy 2 lumina which gives 2 AP on killing an enemy and her Mayhem ability which uses each stain for a heavy elemental hit per stain and Breaks if all 4 slots are filled.

She's a fukking beast

The battle system is NICE. I think Square should actually just use this system for FFXVII and call it a day. Keep the real time battle for KH and Rebirth.

This is definitely the next step up from the conventional turn based system we are used to. Hopefully it’s adopted for more JRPGs in the future.

What makes battle system really special is how unique every character is. They all play completely different so it’s like Rebirth in a way but still turn based. Really cool

No one with any sense of reality is kicking themselves over this, they already overperformed like crazy.

Honestly doesn't bother me now I'm still in Act 1 but dungeons don't seem too long or too confusing to the point where I'm walking in circles for a long time.
