Are Mobb Deep's classics just "regional"?

I don't think The Infamous is regional tbh...it's transcended region

I think 8Ball & MJG are suffering from not having a clear stand-out album, and maybe two of their albums will get over 50% of yes votes and not enough to get classic status

Mobb was nationwide from the jump.
Ball and G weren't getting video play until the third album.

can you get a universal classic and regional classic within the same discog?

like could you say The Infamous is universal classic but HOE is regional?

Sure. UGK would be a good example if you considered one of their first two albums regional classics.
Hell on Earth wasn't a regional album then or now.

I must say am I FLOORED by the vote on On Top Of The World.
No hate - but that's my least favorite Ball & G album, even though it's still pretty good.

No classics, but I I'll say their discography across the board is very dope to listen to. I don't think they've dropped a bad album and every album has a couple of classic individual tracks.
That's kind of how I'm feeling although I might give the nod to Comin Out Hard because that's my favorite album from them :patrice:
