Be might be my favorite album of all time. Those amazing beats by Dilla and Ye are perfect for Common. Along with those great beats, it's Common who takes every song a step further with his amazing rapping and lyrics. Faithful & It's Your World might be 2 of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard

idk about hungriest but Common reminds me of Redman breh

his lyrical and technical prowess was most powerful on Resurrection

his song writing and thematic focus was most prominent on LWFC

his versatility in wordplay and conceptual writing and cohesion was best on Be

I think be was his most cohesive and focused album. Something about dealing with Badu and that whole Electric Circus fiasco put a fire under him. Kanye tapped into something on that album. Its the one Common album I can consistently listen to all the way thru

LWFC and Resurrection are his best albums. They are very, very good.

With that said, Common doesn't have any classic albums.
