Did y'all prefer Common with No I.D., Soulquarians or Kanye?

Honestly for me out of this list I can only go with Be, that's one of my favorite albums ever. Next year I'd go with Finding Forever, I love that album almost as much, if not more, than Be. Maybe it's the production but I just don't feel a lot of the earlier albums like that.

I hate Like Water for Chocolate. I bought that ish the day it came out and I still have it. I just can't get into it. 6Th Sense and sometimes Doin It, but other than that...NOPE.

I voted One Day, Ressurection and of course Be. Be is the one true classic, but Resurrection is great on it's own.

Can I Borrow A Dollar :blessed: - Might not be a classic on all levels but I always liked this album and I didnt hear it until like 1999

Resurrection :wow: - Not much can fukk with this album right here and its not even my favorite album by Com

One Day It Will All Make Sense :ohlawd: This is a great album. Well rounded.. Very mature effort... Not as over the top lyrically as Resurrection, but he was spitting some true grown man shyt. Not to mention he had the god Canibus on there.

Like Water For Chocolate :noah: this is in my top 5 albums. its just that important to me.

Electric Circus :obama: I actually enjoy the bulk of this album. There are a few tracks i do not like though and thats why i couldnt even pretend like this is classic...but a few songs on it are classic Common tracks to me.

Be :ld: I wont front I'm the one guy who isnt really a big Be fan...it really is a great album overall but it doesnt call for me and make me want to listen to it compared to any of his other albums. I was glad when Com finally had a strong bandwagon though.

Finding Forever :blessed: I actually like this album a lot...i cant say its a stronger effort than Be, but i like it more and tend to gravitate towards this one more when it comes to these 2 projects in his discog.

UMC :pacspit: This was the one that just wasnt good. I do like a couple songs on it like "Inhale" and the joint with Kanye, but there some bullshyt on this record. Also seemed kind of rushed.

The Dreamer, The Believer :whew: I called this album an instant classic on first listen. I still feel that way a few years later. Phenomenal album. Com isnt lyrically who he was in like 94-99, but he is still very capable. Probably his most slept on project to me

Nobodys Smiling :ehh: Not bad. Not a good follow up to an album i consider a 5/5 though. That fake Nicki Minaj feature is :scust: but theres some joints on this album...this also felt rushed.

Thelonius?!! Nag Champa?

Thelonius especially. Better than any Kanye-Common collab

Zero, cuzz.

None.

Common has no classics, yo. The closest he came was Like Water For Chocolate.

Resurrection and Like Water.

One Day is good but not quite that good.

Be is....overrated, in retrospect :dame:

Voting yes for Resurrection, Like Water for Chocolate, and Be.

Just for the sake of discussion, though, outside of the quality of the music, can anybody explain the impact/influence of these albums? I could very easily see someone saying that Common has lots of dope albums, but none that are necessarily "classic".
