I picked Ressurection, LWFC & Be. With LWFC being my favorite of the 3 and Ressurection being my least favorite.

I will say this though, although it's nowhere near classic status, EC actually sounds better as time has passed. I think with the advancements of music sonically, EC doesn't sound so out of place anymore. If you like that Soulection sound, you probably don't mind EC.

Finding Forever should have been in the discussion too. I wasn't super hot on it at the time because it wasn't as good as Be but it's a really good album nonetheless.
Was definitely thinking the same about Electric Circus sounding less out of place. Like with all the subsequent work from other artists it has become more tolerable. Not sure that makes it necessarily "underappreciated, slept on, etc" though. As for Finding Forever, I totally agree. I put that album down for years after it was first released, but it was surprisingly better than I remember it. I know it isn't a topic for discussion in this thread, but it was pretty consistent from top to bottom imo.

Back in the day on forums nearly everyone used to say Resurrection was classic.

I think we get caught up in an artist's momentum when they're hot so any project that doesn't live up to what made them hot gets disregarded at the time. I think EC coming out after LWFC was a bad choice because it was a lot different sonically but now that we're out of the bubble, it's really a lot better than we gave credit for it.

Finding Forever was Common's last great album imo. Everything he's done since then has been average at best.

I only voted for Resurrection. I could never get into Be like everyone else seemed to. Always thought it was overrated. Has some great songs on it, but just never clicked like that for me.
