Classics Discussion: Geto Boys

This poll is not gonna get as many votes. Geto Boys was really an early 90's group in their prime and the average poster is too young. Also I think of the Geto Boys as a group with a lot of great tracks, and they had a great style, but it didn't really translate into classic albums. Grip It! is the only classic, I would consider them having (WCBS is a near classic, imo). But they had great songs in all their follow ups and if they dropped a best of CD, it would probably be a double album. But for as impactful a group as they were, GIOTOL is the only album I could play front to back without groaning a little.

If u were into hip-hop like that and from Texas during that time...these guys were super heroes and more popular than anybody at that time..... in Texas

People always talk about Grip It! On That Other Level and We Can't Be Stopped when they talk about Geto Boys, but The Resurrection was always my favorite album of theirs. About Top 80ish on my favorite albums list.
