fukking You Tonight
I Love the Dough (kinda, love Jay)
Another
Nasty Boy
The World is Filled (kinda, less than the rest)

anyway more so than that, the other tracks aren't standout, at least not all. There's a lot of album tracks just there to serve their purpose imo. Very few tracks blew me away like that.
I Love the Dough a filler track?:what:

You the only fool talking about grammar, like a goofie on a hip hop based forum.
Oh and till you live in enfamy and become a legend at this posting shyt, like me.
Then, you can start to be critical.
Till then you need to stfu and keep trying to poll people, you little toy you.

:skip:

I suppose you are also an internet keyboard warrior right, an internet tough guy, a legend at all that shyt...

How can you possibly write reviews breh? I wouldn't trust you to write for a kindergarten class, you'd make all the kids more stupid. But carry on being a legend....

Crispness
but we aren't really addressing the fair-weather or average hip-hop fans

this particular community is full of heads or people who have at least above average knowledge in the genre, so it doesn't matter if the non-singles aren't particularly known

I disagree with the bold, but okay.

but to answer your question, Mathematics is one non-single track that people know, or at least where I'm from lol

Exactly what I thought you'd say...and "Mathematics" was a B-Side to "Ms. Fat Booty", so it was technically a single.
And the reason most folks know of "Mathematics" (at least where i'm from) is because they used the beat on one of the
Madden games. lol

Black On Both Sides was a decent album, but it wasn't a classic.

Really, if it seems like it was a landmark album, it's because of what @SirBiatch was saying.
Mos was the first artist release from Rawkus, and they were really selling his image moreso than his music.

I mean you can jab at the downfalls of this community for whatever, but ppl here obviously possess more knowledge than an average fan, I mean it depends on what constitutes an average fan I guess idk...

Ok fair enough about Mathematics I didn't know that. Hmm so you may have a point there, but my point stands regarding who the target audience is for this question.

The album is still relevant, has held up well sonically and all that, and I think has the necessary quality. I wouldn't say it is as certified as Ready to Die or anything, so I wouldn't be on someone's case if they disagreed with its status, as you do for example.

Man, woman, and child
What are the non-singles on there that the average hip-hop fan would know?
What lines from the deep tracks get quoted?
Theres plenty of classic albums that have tracks on them that the average hip hop fan wouldn't know. Whut Thee Album was deemed a classic but I highly doubt people who aren't huge Redman fans would be able to quote Jam 4 U. When BOBS came out I remember chicks loving that album and so did nikkas I knew who were bumping Cash Money heavy at the time. It was that one moment where the division between underground and commercial was erased. Really looking back the underground has never been the same as we knew it after that album

I don't live and die by source magazine bro...I'm saying I never give a double album classic because it will inevitably suffer from filler, and perhaps my bias points towards the only reason I give Wu Forever classic status idk...

what is the filler on Wu Forever? can you admit LAD has filler?

u must be a youngin because the source magazine was the bible of hip hop (and im ONLY talking before the benzino takeover which happen in da early '00s)

---------------
but anywayz
LAD dosnt have fillers - my definition of a filler is/are songs that nobody like & are skip

the few headz that claim this for LAD alwayz say the 2 to 3 songs
•another
•nasty boy
•player hater

another w/lil kim & nasty boy are songs for the ladies & i swear i NEVER EVER heard a girl say they didnt like those joints

player hater is more like a long interlude its comedy gives disc 2 a change of pace

------------
WTF
dont know what to say - its simple besides triumph all the songs on the double CD basically sound the same
